We just found out that DD1 has to have tubes put in again. She had them put in last May after having constant ear infections from 4-14 months old and it was night and day difference for us. Usually they only stay in about 6 months, but hers stayed in for over a year. As soon as they fell out, the ear infections started again. This time, they said that they might take out the adenoids as well, and for some reason that scares me (because of the recovery time maybe?). I'm also worried about having her go under again...

For those that had tubes more than once - was it harder the 2nd time?
