I haven't watched any anime in a LONG time but I did used to LOVE Cowboy BeBop, TriGun and NG Evangelion This was many many years ago though... I should watch them again!

Now I have no idea what's popular any more. I got very sad when anime switched away from traditional cel animation.

And I keep on telling DH that I will be torturing him with Cardcaptor Sakura when we go to the hospital. Subbed, of course.

@zippylef: I cosplayed Ritsuka from Loveless ;). I used to go to Otakon every year.

Oh and Fushigi Yuugi. I was wayyyy into that one for a while when I was younger. Havent seen it in forever.

Oh I meant to add Samurai 7 in there... That's a good one too

@.twist.: lol, I had a feeling ;). Most girls our age who like anime remember tlu. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Peter s. beagle a few times at otakon.

I also cosplayed as Subaru from x. That was when I was thinner and felt 'okay' in some costumes. My friend is much more into cosplay than I am; she was soubi to my ritsuka (loveless) and kamui with my Subaru. Haven't been in years though; Baltimore is expensive! We each have an anime animation cel collection. DH doesn't know that I cosplayed ;).

Let's see...Babylon 5, my little pony, dragon riders of pern, Harry potter. I think that rounds out my nerdy pursuits!

And yes, I can't believe I left out studio ghibli! In addition to the above kikis delivery service and howls moving castle. I actually got my little sister into anime, which led her to major in Japanese and now she's living in Japan. Mom brought me back Totoro and jiji bibs :3.

@.twist.: Spirited Away is one of my favorite movies. Period.

I love most Studio Ghlibi stuff, even Ponyo was okay. I am currently watching Fruits Basket on Netflix. It is oddly compelling.

I recently got back into watching occasionally. I downloaded the crunchyroll app and started watching on my phone. I like the girly ones. I used to watch:
- Fruits Basket
- Azumanga Daioh
- Chobits
- Ouran High School Host Club
That kind of thing.

@.twist.: ahh the little coal puff balls (soot sprites? whatever they are called LOL) ! I die. I need to take a picture of the Totoro my friend knitted for me. It has taken up residence in my office and guards it for me I'll try to remember tomorrow!

I've only seen one anime movie in my life. And I think it was called Grave of the Fireflies (or something like that). It was bawling. Such a great movie.
