We are a maybe 3 family, but I'm thinking the only reason we even have it as a possibility is because of my flex schedule (I WAH most days), my mom as primary care +DS1's preschool. Without those factors, I'm sure we'd be firmly in the 2 and through camp.
Are there any of you 3+ kids households that are full-time WOHMs? What is your childcare situation? How do you manage time and make it all work!?

We are most likely done at two but our job status wasn't a reason. We can't afford 3 in daycare so if we did have a third it would have to be when #1 is in Kindergarten!

@regberadaisy: Exactly this! We'd love to have 3 or 4 (we have a 14 month old and another on the way this fall) but there's no way we could afford a third until DD goes to K. In a way, that'll be harder than our current situation (because by that time, they'd likely all three be in different places each day--sitter, preschool, K) but at least we could afford it.

I have three. Our aunt lives with us so she's the primary care giver. The eldest was in preschool at age 4 and now is in kindergarten and I pay for after school care. Eventually, the second will enter full day daycare/preschool this fall and the eldest will still be in after school care. Even without our Aunt, I think we would have still had three and day care would have cost a ton for all three but we would still do it.

Yep. 3 kids here. I WOH full time and DH stays at home. Our oldest is in elementary school and the two littles are at home with dad all day.

We are one and done, but my admin has 6 children and works FT. They have spaced their kids out over like 15 years though, so no more than 3 in daycare at any given time. I don't know how they do it, but they do.

I will soon. My oldest will be 4.5 when my third is born and all 3 will be in daycare. I ask myself everyday how we will do it. Financially we can swing it but getting out of the house everyday and getting home and trying to get everyone fed is going to be real challenging. I'm expecting to be late everyday and surviving on frozen food!

We both have pretty low stress jobs. We have to be in the office 40 hours but no overtime and no questions asked if we need time off.
LO1 will head to Kindergarten when baby3 starts daycare. So only ever 2 in daycare at a time.

I'll be full time WOHM in the fall. We'll have a nanny and DD1 will be in part time preschool.
Don't know how it will all work but I'm not afraid it won't.
My mom WOHM while I was growing up with two younger siblings. She's world renowned in her field and the chair of her department at an ivy league university. Having three certainly didn't hold her back and I feel like she was 100% on top of being a mom too.
