I live in Oklahoma and it's already in the 100's here and the humidity is just ridiculous! I'm longing for Fall! Anybody else feel this way?

Haha me! We've already had 100+ degree days. At least we're dry heat though. I can't stand humidity.

I love nice weather and sunshine so I usually love summer but we have tiny bugs in our house that we can't get rid of right now. It's suppose to be a one time thing with new construction homes, the little bugs only come out for one summer so I really want fall to hurry up and get here! Bugs give me anxiety haha.

Eh, I'm okay with it this summer since I'm not massively pregnant like last year. I was so over it by July when I was 7 months pregnant and waddling to work.

Summer hasn't even arrived! Today is the first nice day in months!

@cascademom: I couldn't imagine being huge and pregnant in the Summer, I would be a complete B!

omg! It's not even here yet! I am hoping it comes soon and stays long!

@Springtime: I can only imagine. We visited Taiwan last June and it was very humid there. I kept saying how I don't know how people live with this weather all the time. I was so miserable.

*raises hand* Summer is by far my least favorite season & of course here in south Texas is the longest, or in some cases the only season. =/

Given it is 90+ here, broken AC, and the part won't be in till tomorrow, YES!!! Can't believe I am saying this but happy to be going to work right now.

@Springtime: It was tough when it was really hot and muggy out. I just remember feeling like all I did was sweat some days just getting to and from work. I definitely don't want a late summer baby again.

My 3rd trimester feet are definitely over summer. As of yesterday, they started blowing up again (the AC was off all day at work, which I think had something to do with it). Horrible.

I was just thinking this! I was thinking about how nice it would be if it was fall and things were starting to cool down.
It's better than last year though when I had to move across the country at 38 weeks pregnant and it was 100 degrees outside.
But still, we went to the library this morning because I figured it'd be best to get out early to avoid the heat. It was still so hot! We got home and I decided that we're not going outside again today unless it's to take the dog out.

@MrsKoala: Same here with not having enough "summer" days yet! I've only been to the beach once and it's been in the 90s only a few days so far. It seems like it's taking longer than usual for the summer season to start, weather wise.

Summer hasn't arrived here yet, but I'm dreading it. Can't wait for fall!

I'm always over summer. I never want it to come. My husband keeps saying "just 3 more months and it will be Fall!"

Yes! I really hate Texas summer. I grew up in Michigan, so this concept of "too hot to go outside" was really beyond me. Now I know. I also miss just putting a box fan in the window at night. No A/C needed.

@Springtime: Haha wanna hear something sad? It's not even SUmmer yet!!!!!!
Summer's my least favorite season. Can't wait until Fall!

Nope, summer just got here for us in Nebraska, so I'm enjoying it! Finally getting to take LO swimming this weekend (hopefully!)

@chopsuey119: Oh I know, it's going to get a lot worse. arghhhhh

YES. I hate Florida from June through September. And parts of May and October too. It's just the trade off... living in NJ/IN, the winter was the worst... didn't want to leave the house, etc. This is the same just for different reasons. HATE FLORIDAAAAA RIGHT NOW.

I'm always over it. I don't care for summer. I hate heat and humidity, it's tough to dress modestly/stylishly in summer... I just prefer spring and fall!
grapefruit / 4817 posts
@Arden: Don't you love when companies put out summer sweaters? Or "summer-weight" jackets? I want to know where people are wearing these items, because it is not Florida. I want to wear a bikini top and no pants.

Only because it means I have to figure out something else to do with my hair. Once the humidity hits blow drying it straight is a chore and it immediately wants to curl when I step outdoors.

Over it! Now that summer doesn't mean vacation I could do without it.
Two weeks ago I asked my cousin what she was doing with the rest of her summer. She looked at me like I had a third eye and shouted that summer hadn't even started yet. Boy did I feel like the oldest, most out of touch person ever.

I love summer, it's my most favorite part of the year. It hasn't even started yet, so how can anyone be over it?
Humidity, I understand, but that happens all year round.
GOLD / wonderful grape / 20289 posts
Yes and no. I'm in Florida so it gets crazy hot.... but I don't want to rush the summer. My new baby comes in Dec. and I don't want to rush this pregnancy, it might be my last
