On our 4th month TTC #2. I'm 37 and starting to get anxious... Anyway, this month has not been so lucky. I got a cold the day my OPK gave me a blinking smiley face and it turned into a sinus infection the day I ovulated. We didnt want to waste more precious time so we still hit O, O-1 and O-3. But I'm not optimistic. Any bees DTD while sick and get a bfp?

I had been dealing with what the dr said was a post nasal drip and lots of coughing for a month. I was even taking cough syrup with codeine (whoops) when we were trying and I got pregnant that cycle. I think you still have a good chance at getting pregnant.

@travellingbee: Goodness, I hope so! I am going in for IUI #2 today and I've got a cold...ugh! But I'll try to avoid meds unless it turns into an infection that requires antibiotics. I'll just tell my doc the situation so that the possibility of being pregnant is taken into consideration.

@sarahnicole218: Good luck! I'm on a zpack for this infection but even if we'd caught the egg it wouldn't have implanted yet so it's probably ok.

I started antibiotics (amoxicillin) Sunday for strep throat...right in the middle of FW! We'll see! We managed to still get in a decent amount of BD anyway.

Oh man, when I got pregnant I was sick with a lung infection, living with my husband's best friend since the roof of our apartment had collapsed, and beyond stressed with horrible work stuff. We were TTC, but had basically written off that month entirely (our 6th month trying) because we were both SO preoccupied with other things - and bam!
