My ILs have offered to take us on a small, upscale European cruise next year when LO will be around a year old. "Small, upscale" is code for nothing to do on the ship because the main attractions are the ports of call.
My mom had to gently remind me that shore excursions and day trips will likely be impossible with a LO who is napping 1-2x/day. I'm not sure it's worth the time and money to fly over there if someone will always have to stay back with her while she naps.
Thoughts?
And the one time we went on a cruise we didn't gravitate toward things we could do with a baby. With lo being bottle fed we would also be washing bottles on a ship, nasty... Well that is unless she's on a sippy by then, but right now she still refuses. I guess my point is it wouldn't be very fun to me so I wouldn't spend money on it. But that's not to say you COULDN'T do it!
