Anyone else up? I mean, I know SOMEONE must be. 
I am still awake and cooking. Poo.
I decided that I wanted to do some relaxing with Mr. T tonight before bed, knowing that I had several cooking projects to complete after. I totally mis-judged my oomph and it's gone. Bread is cooked, but the empanadas are still in the oven. Anyone want to keep me company? What are you doing or working on that's keeping you up late tonight?

I'm up! I just cleaned the stove, vacuumed, and brushed the dog. I was going to mop too, but got lazy. Empanadas sound delicious!!!!

It's not late here on the west coast - only 9:42 pm so I just got DD down about an hour ago, and was about to open up a book and light a candle after doing some browsing on hellobee! DH is downstairs with some of his guy friends doing a craft beer tasting... so I'm hanging out by my lonesome!

I'm up. Just finished getting caught up on Orphan Black and about to pack LO's bag for our outing tomorrow. I really want to make a milkshake but that would wake up DH and LO. Also, was waiting up for texts from my BFF's husband. She just had her baby! Woo hoo!

Yeup. I got a migraine from the primer I used in the RV, medicated it with copious amounts of caffeine (it worked!), and am now wide awake. Bleh.

@PurplePumps: I ate some of the filling. *Blush* It's a new recipe. It was for the entire family's safety. Also, if I am up cooking at almost midnight I can eat some filling if I feel like it. You got a lot done!!! If you'd come help me with my house I would feed you an empanada.

You got so much good advice I bowed out of that one. I know I've seen some things at a playground local to us that have had me actual-crying. I think sometimes people cope with stress situations when dealing with children by dialing down their empathy, and sometimes their actions aren't appropriate as a result. Milkshake sounds good, too.

I am awake and not even a fraction as productive as any of you. I just have pregnancy insomnia but the lazy variety. Where I just lay in bed on my phone and bargain with myself over whether I *really* want that ice cream cone or not. I totally do.

@Arden: I'm all hopped up on caffiene, too! It was a bad, bad day when I discovered I could make iced coffee drinks in my Vitamix. Yeah. Mr. T was all, "Um, what is wrong with you?" "Nothing. Nothingatall. I am just drinking this delicious iced coffee drink. Itissooooogoood. Wanna try it???!!! Huh? Why is my left eye twitching? I think I will have some more of this yummy iced stuff now." So bad.

Well, I was a re-reading Fault in Our Stars since it's been awhile and the movie is coming out, but I put it down to go to bed. Then as soon as I laid down heartburn of the 'acid rising up my throat' variety kicked in, so I figured I'd stay up a bit longer. Now it's 1AM and I just finished sobbing my way through the book. I don't feel tired, which I will surely regret in about 6 hours when L wakes up for the day!

@Kimberlybee: I liked it, but will forewarn you that it is SAD. Usually I don't go for books that are so heart-wrenching, but it sucked me in very easily and had plenty of bits that I laughed at too. And my friends who have seen the movie (a couple of them got into an advanced screening) without having read the book still really liked it a lot and thought it was quite well done. I will see it because I have been a fan of the book and I love Shailene Woodley, but I am having serious trouble with the concept of Ansel Elgort playing her love interest after just having the image of him in my mind as Caleb, her brother in Divergent and a character that I totally hate. I'm hoping it won't bother me since the two stories feature such different characters and worlds, but we'll see.
And yes, I'm a total YA fiction junkie. I should probably be more embarrassed about it than I actually am, haha! Most of you are being so productive staying up late, I'm impressed! I don't think I've done anything productive past midnight since I graduated college! lol

@Kimberlybee: I know what you mean, I love getting caught up in a new series! I hadn't read the Divergent books before seeing the movie and afterwards I just tore through all three of them. Although I don't know if I can recommend them either after having read the third one, particularly if you can't do sad right now!
Self help/motivational books seem to have the opposite of their intended effect on me, so sorry but I'm no help with that!

@mrsjazz: All from scratch. They are nuevo latino and with pork instead of turkey. Olives, hominy, spices, mushrooms... I'd love your recipe! I'm glad you don't think she's a bad person; that would make it SO much worse. Still, it's undoubtedly a really hard situation to be in.
@Kimberlybee: I understand. Hope the clothes are all sorted. I need to do that for Lorelei. Ellie's are done already for this season.

@wonderstruck: I'm never up on current stuff. I might have to check it out. I've been reading a great deal on other religions lately for my nonfiction. And finished "The Secret Life of William Shakespeare" recently. So good I didn't want it to be done.

Here are the empanadas. And Lorelei woke up *just* as I pulled them out and was super-awake for a while. But I can finally go to bed. It's only almost 1am.

@Kimberlybee: Depending on how they go over with the girls, I might do a post of the recipe. It's kinda fun.
I miss cooking for other people. I'd love to run a B&B or something and cook for people other than family all the time. Ellie brags on me, which makes me feel really good, but Mr. T is kinda apathetic at this point. I miss when we were newly together and he would photograph our meals and brag to his friends about my cooking.

@twodoghouse: We just got home yesterday. He's a great baby but also a huge swaddle addict and needs to be held constantly. It also threw us for a loop that everything needed to be rebought in a preemie size!
