Is there anyone else cooking or baking tonight in preparation for Thanksgiving? Our office is having a potluck lunch tomorrow, so I made this chocolate trifle. Share pics if you're cooking/baking, too!

That looks fabulous!!
I cooked dinner tonight (chicken pot pie) for the first time in weeks. At 22 weeks, it exhausted me, but my husband was grateful. I'm glad we don't have any special parties to attend this week that would require too much effort.

(1). That looks delicious. Care to share your recipe? (2). I was going to bake a bit, but decided I should pack instead. I'll just do all my baking at my parents.

@Mrs. Blue: Sure! Here is the recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/chocolate-trifle/
I have made it before and mine is slightly different from the recipe. Instead of adding cool whip to the pudding mix layer, I mix 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 3 Tbsp of sugar to make my own then add that (but I still use cool whip for one of the other layers). Also, I add caramel sauce and Heath bar bits on top of the brownie layer. (I just make the brownies from a box.) It's sooo yummy!

@lawbee11: Yum! I have a trifle dish that's just dying to be put to good use! I'm a big fan of using whipping cream in anything I can, so I'll try your method!

I have been baking, cooking, and prepping all night. My first task was this cheesecake. It doesn't look like much still in the pan, but it's amazing, and always the most requested thing I make. It takes 4 hours to bake though. I need double ovens! I just put a pecan pie in!

We had our work potluck today because Tuesdays are usually the slowest day of the week. I made a pretzel pecan candy and a sugar free banana pudding but don't have pics becuase everything was eaten up!

I already have 3 apple pies made and frozen, I made a pumpkin ape pie for dessert tonight, a few loaves of banana bread, and several dozen cookies for DH to bring to work tomorrow. Tomorrow it's pumpkin pies, sweet potato rolls, more cookies, corn pudding and a squash zucchini mash.

Tonight I macerated some end-of-summer berries (yep! weird weather means there are still decent berries around here). That will go into a Charlotte tomorrow.
Also ready to go is a bunch of small egg rolls that I rolled up last weekend and froze. The main's going to be duck breasts roasted on the bone...and they've been aging for the past 2 weeks. Since this will be multiple days of cooking, I've also made some mixes in advance...One for fried chicken, the other for a banana financier.
More to come soon enough...we'll see if I was actually smart enough to plan things right, or if I've bitten off more than I can chew!

I'm starting tomorrow. We're splitting all of the cooking with some friends. I'm making 2 pumpkin pies & a pistachio torte (my favorite!) tomorrow and a couple of other things on Thursday.

I am baking tonight! I'm putting together my cinnamon rolls for Friday morning. Hubs and I need sustenance to get us through our workday and my parents need them to get them through a day of babysitting.
