E is getting her 15 month molars in, B is being so defiant today (probably related to waking up at 4am) and I'm pmsing. Add in very little sleep and solo parenting for nearly 2 weeks and I am so freaking tired and irritable!
Anyone else pooped?

I can definitely empathize. E is getting 3 molars in, he's been up 4-5-6 times a night for weeks now, even though DH is here he's been working so much OT that he's barely seen E awake, and so far today E hasn't napped. At all.

Yep, getting top molars and just not happy about anything these days...

Yep, my 7 week old went from sleeping 4-5 hour stretches in her Rock N Play to refusing to sleep for more than an hour in Rock N Play and wanting to be held when sleeping :(. I don't think I have slept longer than a two hour stretch in over a week...

Yep, I'm freakin whooped. 30 weeks pregnant and sleeping like crap... I didn't get anything done this weekend.

@chopsuey: yep. I drank a vente americano this morning pretty quickly!
@Ash: in your thread about getting your hair cut, I looked at your picture and thought, "she had her baby early?!?" Hahaha. I should read thoroughly

@HLK208: Hahahah you would have never known. hoping to keep the baby baking til November though. Thinking this sleeping thing isn't gonna get better any time soon.
Hope the 3 of you are just hanging out today!

I felt so good yesterday, DD slept 8.30pm - 6am, then 7-10am! Then last night, we chanced it and stayed up to 1am with a bottle of wine..... Blow me, didn't she wake up at 4.30am and wouldn't go back down until 5.30, then she was up 8am for the day. So yes, Im exhausted today but I guess its my own fault!

1 year old up at 5am. Went to fair and pounding headache since...and 4 months prego.

I am just about at the end of my rope. Solo parenting week 2 of 4, with a 5 month old up every 2 hours who only naps 45 minutes at a time.
Add a barking dog and I am losing my mind.

Awww that sounds so rough I have been tired about every second or third day. It is SO hard looking after a child when you are just completely wiped. The good thing to remember is that It does get better.

@aprk: I feel like its getting worse...like the fatigue is building on itself. Hang in there, we will survive our crappy sleepers

Yep. Feels like the treadmill keeps going faster and faster with no way to turn it down. I've gotten to a pretty easy stage of parenting, Deere Boy is 4 and in preschool and Tractor Girl is 2 and not teething or anything, but being 30 weeks pregnant and keeping all the bases covered at home while DH works extremely long hours on the farm is really, really exhausting. Especially since Farmer Man is in no shape to take over parenting when he gets home.

Yes! Today is day one of solo parenting for two weeks and Im so pooped.
bananas / 9628 posts
yes and i have no baby, nor am i pregnant, so i don't have those good reasons. af is in town and that always makes me super tired, and i'm over due for my B12 injection so that makes me tired in a whole different way- like i can't see out of my right eye and i keep dropping things because my hands don't work well when i'm tired. hoping i can get my mom to do my injections tomorrow 'cause i still refuse to do it myself.

Yup. I think P is having her first growth spurt and has been waking every 60-90 min to eat. And then fights going back to sleep. The swing seems to have knocked her out, thank goodness.

Yes. 10 weeks pregnant, and my sleep is already crap. Just woke up from a nap, and am now tired AND nauseous. Blah
@mrs. bird: I hope you can get your injection soon!

...just yes. I have an assignment due in about 6h and I just have no energy (brain power) to devote to it.
I noticed I was always tired, so I started Paleo and daily workouts backup this last Friday. I feel less tire but not awesome, maybe it's because AF is still very much in town.

@mrs. bird: my mom is b12 deficient as well and when she is overdue for her injection, she is SCARY tired. Like, I'm scared when she turns on the oven or drives a car because she will just be so tired to the point of not focusing well enough for those 2 functions.

Yep. Trying to transition LO to her pack n play, so she's up every hour all night. Just drank an Americano for energy, and she passed out...but I'm too wired to nap while she does!

Exhausted. I am 33 weeks pregnant, working six days a week to make up for missed work due to my extensive weekly prenatal appts, I am in major nesting mode which means I am running around like a maniac during waking hours and as of last week I have been sleeping like crap because nearly every position causes my arms to fall asleep which doesn't sound like a big deal but it ends up going from annoying to achy to downright painful and wakes me up upward of twenty times in a single night. It is getting rough

Yup tired mama here too. Our LO is also in the wake up at 4:30am and stay awake camp.

@aprk: ditto on the barking dog (and it's mine!)
@HLK208: SO tired, and tired of being tired and kinda angry about it

@aprk: hugs Mom!!
I have been tired since last June when I got pregnant.....

@LovelyPlum: me too! haha
@TurtleDoves: it makes your head cloudy- i forget things, really stupid things, like where i'm going. i found out about mine after a terrible case of mono that made all of these dormant health issues surface. between the mono and the b12 deficiency, i'd never been so tired in my life!
