When JC Penney experimented with everyday low pricing and got rid of sales & coupons, I *LOVED IT*. Apparently America did not because they did away with that and went back to their previous MO of having sales on different things every few days.

Gap seems to do this too. They send me an email every day about the sale they are having--25-40% on this or that or whatever. They had 40% friends & family, then 40% just because, then 30% kids sale. It is endless!

Macy's is also guilty of this. Every week, 6 out of 7 days there is a *major sale* (like the monthly One Day Sale, which is actually 2 days). I price tracked a bedding set I wanted and it worked out that on any given day, I could purchase it for between 25-37% off. When it finally went on clearance, the discount was 50-60% off.

Anyone else hate these!? I realized I always feel ripped off and I started shopping at Nordstrom instead (which is counterintuitive, since stuff generally tends to be pricier and they have only 3 sales a year!). .
