Please tell me I'm not alone!
DD is 19 months and I can count on one hand the number of times DD has fallen asleep in my arms (with the exception of being nursed to sleep). The only way she will fall asleep is in a dark room with no distractions. It doesn't matter how tired she is 
I feel like I'm missing out on great cuddle time.

@BabyBoecksMom: We can trade for a day or two if you want. My almost nine month old ONLY wants to fall asleep in my arms. No where else (including her father's arms) will do!

8 month old will only fall asleep in my arms. It's nice for a little while.... But it kinda gets old too mama's got things to do haha

@BabyBoecksMom: DD is 7 months old and is the same - she will only fall asleep in her crib/pack and play. In the dark, by herself. I want sooooo badly for some sweet sleeping cuddles! Even on the plane, she wouldn't fall asleep on me. I hope the next baby is a cuddler!!

Yep! My LO is 15 months old now and she NEVER wants to sleep in my arms. Sometimes it makes me sad, but other times I'm relieved since she's not exactly so small anymore at this point

E won't either... very very rarely he will let me rock him to sleep before bed, but he has to be so tired he can barely keep his eyes open for that to happen. Otherwise, he will only fall asleep in bed, or in his car seat. Not the stroller, not on me, never on the floor or in our bed.

My daughter hates sleeping in my arms (or anyone's arms for that matter). Whenever I rock her, she points to her crib. Makes me sad sometimes because I remember rocking my son to sleep and it was nice getting that snuggle time.

Me too! The only time was on a flight when she was super tired. She nodded off while watching tv.

My LO stopped doing this almost 6 months to the day, she doesn't snuggle, she doesn't cuddle, anything anymore She doesn't even like us holding her when she drinks her bottle, she prefers to lay on blanket on the floor...it breaks my heart. And I in ny way regret letting her fall asleep on me all those months when she was a baby...if I had only known that's all I would get I would have let her do it even longer before moving her to bed.
