I think chelsea wanted to, and attempted after they brought her home, but Aubree was premature and they gave her formula at the hospital so she really didn't have a good start.

I noticed that too after I got pregnant. Haha. You're right though. It isn't a good example to set, but they aren't exactly role models either. But it is their choice.
No judgement though on FF use. My son was 9 months BF and is now FF!

I haven't watched in a long time but I do remember one nursing mom! I think her name was Katie.

Kailyn BF her second son (they actually showed her struggle with a nursing strike on the show). She's a big BF advocate and tweets about it. I don't think Jenelle BF Jace, but she's currently BF her second son. And there was one girl on Teen Mom 3 who BF but I don't remember her name...Mollie's mom. Ok, obv I know way too much about Teen Mom BF rates tend to increase with age and income, so it's not terribly surprising. I know the ones who have BF have gotten a lot of support from viewers for doing so.

@Anya: Was she the one with the eating disorder who still wanted to attempt breastfeeding? I know Kailyn does. I'm surprised about Jenelle since there's a ton of rumors where she drops off baby Kaiser roll to his parents all the time. To be nursing an infant requires mom and child to be near each other often if not all of the time. I'm just really surprised on that one.

@lawbee11: I read Teen Mom Junkies too much. The commentary on there is gold. Kaiser roll is one of the many nicknames for that poor kid. I guess it's good she at least attempted it.

I don't think they get pumping breaks at school (they're not mandatory), so that would be a big deterrent for the ones who return to school. I saw a recent episode where she breastfed. The couple who were living in the car for a few days, and be-bopping houses. I forget her name.
