I'm in England and I've been impatiently waiting for this baby's arrival! I hope the ribbon was a clue but I thought they weren't finding out again so I don't think I put much stock into it. I believe she is five days late now so one way or another, we'll have a new royal baby within the next week!

I can't imagine having so many people wait outside a hospital. If i were her, I'd give birth at home and have the medical teams come to me, LOL.
5 days overdue with #2. i feel for her.

Yes, I am too. I hope that its a little girl so we can see all of the beautiful dresses!
I feel bad for her being so overdue.

I didn't realize the baby was already due (or rather, past due). Man, I didn't even want family waiting in the waiting room when I had C! Talk about pressure- but I guess that is her life. I sort of hope it's a girl too but either will be super adorable im sure.
I cried when they left the hospital with George. Granted, I was like 39 weeks pregnant, but still. They looked so happy!

I'm hoping she has the baby on Sunday - my LOs' birthday!
@blackbird: I didn't know you were already due! I hope he doesn't keep you waiting much longer!

Yes!!! Will we know when they arrive at the hospital? Or not until the baby is born?
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@twodoghouse: Eh i'm technically not. I'm 38.5 weeks, but I have a feeling that'll be me in 2 weeks since I went late with E. Just trying to accept the what feels like inevitable!

I live in the UK and I can't say I'm all that bothered... Sure, I hope mama and baby are healthy, but I'd wish that for anyone. All those crazies camping outside the hospital... Oh my

Isn't today their wedding anniversary? That'd be a nice day for baby's arrival (I only know this bc it's my mom's birthday too - not a big royal-watcher).

Yes I am waiting! I want her to have a princess with an April 2015 birthday, just like my LO.

@blackbird: I went at 38+6 with my second (after being induced with my first). Who knows, maybe you'll go tomorrow! Here's hoping...

I'm excited! We got married a few months after them, had our first a few months after them, and will have out second a few months after them! Twins, basically.

So excited for this!
I got married two weeks after her, had my first LO 4 months before hers, and my second LO 4 months before this babe. Like @Mrs. J:, we are basically twins

@keepcalmcarrie: I was born within weeks of Prince William, got married a month after they did and was pregnant with my first when Prince George was born. I am not ready for #2 so no longer keeping up with the Royals!
I'm interested, not to the point I'd ever hang out near the hospital but they are a cute family and seem kind so I am happy for them.

@Mrs. J: Yes!! I thought about the timing, too. So similar!! Because, you know, we're basically twins too

@teawithpaloma: oh man - I saw this updated and thought you had some labor news

@Mamaof2: I wish!! For her sake I hope baby comes soon. It's embarrassing that I woke up thinking of her but I think it's just empathy knowing what it feels like to go so late.

Eek! Breaking news.....she just went to the hospital! Early signs of labor they say!

It's a girl!!! Just heard it on CNN.
What do you think they will name her?
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
@NCSUchick27: just saw this on Facebook. I don't really think I should be as excited for them as I am! I wonder what her name will be.

@Foodnerd81: I know, I let out a little cheer when they announced it on CNN. My DH looked at me like I was crazy.

Yay a girl!!! Now I need to know the name...I need some inspiration for myself lol!

Yay for !!
I have my guess on Alice or Diana for names.

I think this is so cool. How many little girls out there dream of being a princess one day, and this little one actually gets to be one.
