Apparently they will be leaving the hospital this evening.

@NCSUchick27: part of me wonders what's the rush leaving the hospital so quickly... Then I remember she's not like me, she's going back to a palace with plenty of people to cook them food and whatever else they need.

I saw the pics of William bringing George to meet his new sister. So cute.

Aww they brought her outside for her first photos. Of course Kate looks fantastic.

@Boogs: @bluestriped bee: Thanks! I can't believe how good she looks for having a baby earlier today. And the princess looks so sweet!

Wow. Kate looks incredible. She is not real. I just don't understand how you look that great hours after giving birth!!

@hellobeeboston: it helps to have a glam team that meets you in the hospital! Plus she's always been tiny and carries small! But yeah- so unfair

@Mrs. Pen: I was literally just saying to DH, you could give me the worlds best hair and makeup team and I could never have looked half that good in the day I had C.

She obviously has awful first trimesters, but dang she looks good at the end.

@Mrs. Pen: @Foodnerd81: haha I was just saying to DH, "I want to be her. She looks amazing!" He said, "well I'm sure she has a professional makeup person." And I said, "exactly! I want to have that!"

I loooove that dress. I know they were just outside for a few minutes, but I can't imagine trying to walk in heels after giving birth!! And that dress doesn't look BF-friendly. Obviously she wasn't going to start feeding the baby in front of everyone, but it must be hard to get all dressed for a few minutes and then change all into something else.

She does look so amazing though. Birth really just took it out of me, I wouldn't have looked like that no matter how much professional help! I know people mock hospitals that offer things like pedicures after birth, but I felt so barely human afterwards, that a little pampering goes a long way! I hope she enjoyed it, instead of just being a big burden to do after birth.

    Happy for them!

@hellobeeboston: @jedeve: I need a financial backer to support my business idea, but I feel like glam services should be available in all hospitals...hair, makeup, nails. It's great for after having a baby, but also those who have extended stays and just want to look better to help them feel a bit better.

@Boogs: especially nails! I remember I had gotten a pedicure a few months before I gave birth so it wasn't looking great then. And it was soooo long before I could get to it. I remember just being so frustrated by it.

@jedeve: I gave birth two weeks early the first time around and didn't make it to a pedi appointment that week and all I could think of in the hospital was how badly I needed my nails painted lol.

@Boogs: that's a brilliant idea! I totally would have paid for someone to come fix me up hahaha. I looked like hell in pictures after having my babies.

    Kate looks gorgeous!

Yeah really, all the hair and make-up in the world would not have helped me look that good so soon after having a baby. She is unreal! She's wearing heels and a dress that can't hide much in the way of pp bleeding. Eeek! She probably changed out of that dress pretty quickly, but still. Love her.

I like the pictures of another mom leaving the hospital that day. She's wearing all black and sneakers! That's more human, but she looks great, too!

@Andrea: she looks pretty glam too - maybe Kate's glam team gave the other moms mini makeovers too or maybe British moms are just way more stylish than me!

@yoursilverlining: you have to pay a lot of money to deliver there so that hospital sees more glam moms than average. So it could be that this mom got some help, too, you're right!

@Andrea: Yes! The pp bleeding! That's all I could think about...she must have some industrial strength contraption on under that dress to ensure no unsightly accidents. I must say, she looks amazing.

I love love love that yellow dress. She is brave, for sure, but you know she's well contained in an army of stuff underneath!

Staring at my ratty nails right now, yeah, I'd be open to having them done in the hospital! Especially since we are having photos done after-and I know if I did them now, they'd just have to be re-done!

@Caly: yeah, hook me up with a red dress!! Hehe. She is amazing, for sure.

I wonder why she left so early? They must have a nurse or a doctor at the palace. I know baby nor I were in any shape to be home so soon! But I imagine security is probably better at the palace.

I kind of wonder if younger people who haven't given birth yet don't realize that's totally NOT what you look like after giving birth! I could have seen myself five years ago thinking that you must still look like a normal person, not like you've been to the brink of hell and back!
