Im so jealous of all the pics I saw of all the little babes enjoying the fireworks. P HATES them. we did a test run the other day and as soon as they started he was hysterical! he hates loud noises so I figured we would be skipping them this year. We did get to walk around and enjoy the festivities before we left right before the fireworks started

We didn't take our 14 month old. But I remember my nephew, who is usually a daredevil, was still terrified of them at 3! SIL had to go sit in the car with him.

We were going to take our 15-month old, but then we reconsidered after seeing her reaction to the loud noises at the 4th of July parade -- utter terror! I actually do think she probably would have been ok at the fireworks though, given that we only live a few blocks away from them, and she ended up sleeping through them as if nothing was going on.

DS wasn't afraid of them at all. he just pointed and said 'ooh!'(he's 14 months). he lost interest pretty quick though and just wanted to run around with the big kids.
