325 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: I have not but here is my tried and true recipe for perfect hard boiled eggs.

Put eggs in pot.
Cover with water.
Set pot on stovetop.
Set heat to high.
Once the water starts boiling, set a timer for 10 minutes.
When the timer goes off, remove the pot from the heat.
Set the timer for another 10 minutes.
Remove eggs from water, place in bowl, place bowl in fridge.

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: if they don't like a plain hard boiled egg, try egg salad with just a little mayo, salt and pepper. M seems to love it.

Nope. I do them on the stove. Put some vinegar in the water and bring to a rolling boil. Leave boiling for 15 minutes. Take off and immediately put in a bowl of ice water or run under cold water.

I've tried it in the oven without the towel. Just placed them directly on the rack. Didn't really make things easier.

I do them like @mediagirl: mentions, but I let my eggs kind of come up to room temperature before putting it in the pot. The shell comes right off! So easy. I find that putting cold eggs into the pot makes the shell harder to peel and sometimes, the shells crack during the boil process. And once the water boils, I remove it from the heat, put the lid on, and wait 10 minutes. Then dump out hot water and put ice and water in the pot for them to cool off a bit. then peel.

@mediagirl: okay, that seems pretty simple. Totally trying to make some tonight.

Sometimes the simplest cooking leaves me baffled.

set timer for 10 minutes
place eggs into an ice bath to stop them from cooking further
