DH has been interested in it so I've been considering it as his birthday gift. Anyone tried it?

@Mrs. Deer: which blade type does he use? Great to hear he loves it!

My dh just started too....he has always been REALLY picky about what razors he uses so it has been a huge savings for us!

@Mrs. Pen: we did the most expensive one for a little bit, but then moved to the middle-of-the-road one which he says has been just as good.

@Mrs. Deer: DH has dark coarse facial hair and I was looking at the middle one as well!

DH refuses to use a regular razor, he's electric only, so something like this won't work for him.
Random fact, the only 2 times he's been shaved with a non-electric razor, I shaved him because he had lost his electric and can't stand scruff. I think we were both terrified that I'd accidentally cut him, but no nicks!

@Mrs. Deer: @owlteach: second question: have you ever used it for yourselves?? It says women can use them too! (Definitely do not know the difference between men and women's razors)

Huh. Didn't know this was a thing. That Roger Federer comment made me laugh though. If I shaved I would use it for myself.

@Mrs. Pen: I havent cause im not that picky and we have other razors still around. But, hes only been using them for about a month!

@Mrs. Pen: I started to say that we got a second handle because I use his cast off razors to shave my legs and stuff, but then I thought that was weird! But yeah, I use them too

We have GOT to do this! DH and I both use obnoxiously expensive men's razors. If these are even close to as good in quality it's worth it!

Both DH and I use them. We use the most expensive ones just because DH has pretty sensitive skin. He was using the stupid expensive razors prior to switching, but we both like the Dollar Shave Club ones. I started using them several months after he had signed up because he had a surplus (he doesn't shave everyday) and I really don't notice a difference between them and any other razor I've used. I know DH has never had a problem with them!

Yep, my husband is pretty picky too, he uses the middle ones. Love how much we save!

Cool idea. I haven't heard of it but DH has. We are going to try the cheapest plan and see how it goes.
Thanks for posting about this.

OMG, this is amazing. DH spends probably $40 a month on razors, so we have definitely got to try this.

I get my razors from dorco (the place that dollar shave club gets their razors from) to save even more money. I paid $35 for a year supply of razors. I'm bet they will last longer than a year though. They have plenty of other cheap razor packages. I like the razors and would recommend them.

Yep! Both DH and I use them . . . I started using them for the same reason as @debbiei8: (hubs had a surplus from not shaving every day). They're great! No complaints!
@Mrs. Pen: I look at it this way . . . if the razor is designed for someone's face, it ought to work quite well on mah stems!

We both use it! I just get the cheapest plan, and DH gets a better one. They're great, and it saves us a bunch of money.

Wait! I don't get this... So the quality is just better than your normal drugstore brands but it's cheaper than if you buy super nice blades elsewhere?

@MsLipGloss: haha my first razor when I was a teen was a mens razor I received free in the mail lol. I had no complaints! So I really don't know of any difference..
@Mrs. Deer: haha no shame! Maybe I'll do the same. My problem is we don't spend money on razors and so we both end up with razor burn. But this seems like a great compromise between frugality and a quality product!
@loveisstrange: eee that's crazy! Sometimes I think the reason DH keeps a beard 70% of the time is because of the hassle and cost of shaving.
@lemondrop: @bluestriped bee: @Torchwood: yay! Hope you like them.
I think this has solidified that this is DH's birthday gift

@travelingnanny: I did a google search and saw that you can order them that way. It's good to know.
