I was going to skip it in theaters, but with a 96% rating I'm rethinking that decision. It opens May 4th... anyone planning to see it?

My husband really wants to go see this! I told him we should go if baby isn't here yet but we'll now have a newborn on our hands! He can go by himself or wait and we can go together.

I will definitely be seeing this one! I loved all the other movies (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America) and The Avengers is written and directed by Joss Whedon (along with others), one of my favorite writer/directors, so I know it's going to be good!

I've heard great reviews, Dh wants to go see it, so it'll probably be our next date night movie. (We're trying to go to the theater a lot this year before Nov!)

My husband only gets excited about one or two movies a year and he is pumped about this one. Hopefully I'll be able to convince him to wait for a couple of weeks to avoid the crowds.

@mrbee: I am really sensitive to sounds like crinkling paper and people rustling around, so crowded movies are tough for me because I get a little antsy. Hopefully my hearing will become desensitized after we have kids!

Yeah, we've seen almost every comic book movie on the big screen. We just picked up our tickets for the midnight showing on Friday. DH is really excited.

@mrbee: So have you seen Avengers?? I've seen it twice. Friday at midnight and then Saturday afternoon. It's pretty good!

Dh and i went and saw it yesterday and we loved it! It was great on the big screen. I would totally watch it again. Good balance of humor and action.

I didn't get the hype! DH & I love "popcorn movies," and DH really likes Marvel movies... but we were "eh." I felt like the storyline wasn't developed enough or something?

Went yesterday and ended up in a theater full of Avengers fanatics. Loved it!
