P's name comes with a very obvious nn that I personally don't like. We've tried to think of some others but DH's niece, whom we are close with, has one of them as her actual name & so it nixes a couple of the others due to it being so similar. This has left us with not being able to find an actual nn that we like & so we just use P's full name OR variations of pronouncing it (like cant-e-lope is one of them). My grandpa, who has given us all nicknames, started calling her Oppi (poppy, drop the p) before he passed, but I haven't been able to get myself to really use it much away from my grandmas house.

Anyone else not give their lo a nn?
