We're kind of in the same boat. I'm due in about 3 months, and we have a few names we LOVE, but we haven't picked "the" name yet. DH wants to see the baby first and see if one name fits her better.

We do but my friend didn't for their first. The went into L&D with 5 girl first-middle name combos and ended up using a one of their first and middle names they liked but not one of the predetermined combos. They decided way after they had time to meet their little girl and just before they left the hospital.

we are not TTC yet, soon very soon though! We have had a boy name and a girl name picked out since before we were married. They both have middle names with meaning, and first names that we both really liked. We have a back up boys name, but no back of for a girls name! We talk about it all the time, and I will randomly ask him "so you are still ok with the names >>>>>>>? And he always says yep, and then says it, and smiles.

We were Team Green and went in with a boy name with 3 middle name choices and like 4 girl names.

We are 7 weeks out and have a list of 4 names. I have no intention of picking one before the little guy arrives. I'm hoping that once he is here, one of the names will just feel right.

We don't.... but only because we're team green and don't know if it's a boy or girl. We have one of each so we just have to find out the sex and we'll be able to name the baby.

I know a few people who didn't know before the baby came. One knew the second she saw her LO, one didn't have a name for a couple of days, and the other had a name that they thought they were going to use but weren't 100% sure until a couple of days sitting on it after the baby was born, and they ended up using it.

Our boy went several days, maybe almost a week, with no name. We called him Baby. Our girl, we weren't 100% on, but we decided the day she was born.

We're 8 weeks out from our due date. We had a boys name decided before we even conceived so of course we're having a girl. We've narrowed it down to 3 names; the current favorite we can't figure out a middle name we like, the other 2 combos i love but my husband isnt crazy about them. I'm still waiting for some divine intervention that i get a sign that just says yup thats her name

We went to the hospital with a list of about 5 names that we coudln't decide on. Once he was born, we took one look at him, looked at each other, and Hubs (who was the really indecisive one), said, "I think D is perfect for him." So that was it.

For our first daughter we needed to see her to be sure. If she was a red head, we would have used a different name. When she came out with dark hair, we knew that the name we picked originally was just right!

With our second daughter, there was no wavering. She was always going to be M.
