LO is an awesome sleeper. And it is through no fault of my own LOL. I'd just call us very, very, very lucky.

We never sleep trained either kid; we just waited it out, and both of them started sleeping better on their own at about 1 year. I'm glad we waited!

We got lucky, she started STTN at 5 weeks, she will wake up when teething, but she's always been a fabulous sleeper, we got very very lucky. Nothing we did that's for sure!

No sleep training here either. She STTN on her own around 6ish months.

Meeeeee.
Well, we didn't do CIO per se. But we stopped jumping up for every cry around 4 months and around 6 months let him cry for at least 5 mins before getting him. He's been sleeping 10 hours straight WHEN HEALTHY since about 6-7 months.

We got lucky. Never had that newborn sleep deprivation. She has slept well since the very beginning.

we never had to train LO to sleep at night. She's always gone down without fussing (most nights) and started STTN around 7 weeks. I did train her in that I offered the paci when she woke up instead of feeding her which helped her start STTN earlier I think.
we did do some nap training. just letting her cry/fuss 10-15 min b4 getting her. but she's always been a good napper once shes asleep. she sleeps about 3 - 2 hour naps. we did have to let her CIO tho when we were swaddle weaning for her naps.

Never did! My daughter either sleeps through, or wakes up once and my husband goes and spends the rest of the night with her (she sleeps on a floor bed). It's about 80% perfect, which is enough for us.

like @winniebee: we did exactly the same thing. I think we did CIO for one night, and then we let her cry for 3 minutes before going to her. She puts herself back to sleep every time before the 3 minutes are up...unless she's hungry.

I didn't, but I feel like I'm the only one whose LO doesn't sttn! She still wakes up twice a night.

We also got very lucky. She slept 12 hours since 2 1/2 months. We didn't get so lucky with naps.... but we stuck it out and she became a good napper at 8 months. Better late then never.
