I haven't noticed any supply issues. The shot is not bad at all, they have to give it in a muscle. So they give it to you on your butt cheek.

@krsmall: That's the same q I posted to your wall! I loved the shot when I was on it in college & if I get to the point after having 2 that I genuinely don't want more or need a long term break then I'll get on it again. It's just that it took me 6m to get pregnant after stopping it and my doctor said it was the culprit. After it left my system I got pregnant the first try. -
@TurtleDoves: I was just reading a review of the shot and it said to stop it an entire year before you want to even start ttc! Eek! I guess that wont work for me....

My friend had a surprise baby when she missed one of her shots. She had to get a pregnancy test before they'd give her a shot again and she found out she was pregnant.

@Mrsdaredevil: @krsmall: See these two contradicting views? This is why bc is so annoying. I probably won't go back on it but I like to know that the shot doesn't drain milk supply just in case I get in over my head with LO #1 and end up needing bc.
