I'm quite decent at sewing and would like to use fitteds and covers (wool and PUL) for our future baby. They look pretty easy to do and would be much cheaper to make than to buy. Anyone got any experience?

@Snowdrop: I hated sewing PUL/covers when i tried, but sewing a wool soaker was super easy (upcycled sweater). I think fitteds would also be easy. I used the katrina free pattern for the soaker.

@scg00387: I might have a look at that one, I had planned on knitting the Soakers and if PUL is hard to sew I don't mind buying those, it's more the fitteds where I think we would save money. Did your Soakers work well?

@Snowdrop: I made it for a friend and haven't heard any complaints! It took maybe 20 minutes with my serger, and was so soft from the merino wool sweater.
