I was at a wedding rehearsal and overheard some girls talking about it... How you can eat it but also use it topically for things?

I got a cold sore a few weeks ago, and didn't want to take my usual Valtrex (which always knocks them out) because I'm pregnant (first tri). I Googled and saw that Manuka honey, applied topically, works well for cold sore treatment. Tried it (got the kind from TJs) and I definitely think it helped! All evidence of the sore was completely gone 7 days from the start of it. No blister ever really developed. I'm a believer!

We got some while in Australia, but it tastes pretty awful so I've pretty much forgotten we have it

I have it and use it for colds for all of us. I have also made a face mask a few times with it, just cause it seems like a great idea. Ours doesn't taste bad though I have only used it for a hot honey tea.

I love it as a facial mask. I honestly don't care for the taste of it.
