I think I used nasonex when I wasn't pregnant.

A Neti pot works amazingly well, though! I was surprised at how much more relief I felt with that compared to a nasal spray.

Another Nasonex user here. I might have used it while preggo along with Allegra.

The netipot is great too, but I'm always so dang congestedand the interior of my nose is so swollen that nothing flows through. DH loves it and swears by it to provide relief.

@Mamaof2: DH used nasonex, but it's not supplied in Canada anymore or something (or maybe just a temporary supply issue), so he's using something else...can't remember what it is! He uses it daily spring and summer and then just occasionally fall and winter. I don't think he's ever had a bloody nose from it...

Those sounds totally hippie dippie, but the best help I've gotten for my allergies has been eating raw, local honey. It helps expose you to the allergens in your area and adapt to them...or something like that. heh.

I use Flonase twice a day, every day. When it's springtime I also take an allergy pill, Xyzal, to help as well. AND, Pataday eye drops. What can I say, I have crazy allergies.

I think I use Nasonex. My new allergist said that I have to use it once daily until November because of the severity of my environmental allergies. It also take two weeks for it to start working right.

I also use flonase daily. I haven't had bloody nose issues. Maybe because using the spray is new to you it's drying you out big time?

Try using a saline mist throughout the day and maybe a sinus rinse (I prefer a squeeze bottle over the neti pot) to keep things hydrated.

When Zytec stopped working for me, claritin did 0. Allegra worked a little better (but after a few month break, I went back to zytec)

I also found a saline gel that feels really soothing. I like that it feels like it stays in place more.

But you're dry way up in your sinuses, the spray reaches better.
