I have always wanted to try these so I finally bought some - worked great the 1st 10 times and now I am getting static - grrr!!
Says it should last 100 uses before needing to be recharged - so whats going on?

I do! How many are you using? You should be using at least 6 with each load. Also, I find that some fabrics will have static no matter what. I've definitely used mine more than 100 times!

@Weagle: just 3 - they came 3 in a pack so I assumed that was all you need! I will get more!

I agree with @Weagle, 6 is the right amount for us. Love using wool dryer balls instead of dryer sheets.

I wanted to try them but DH is addicted to the scent of Bounce. LOL
And wow you need SIX to a load?!

Wow, 6?? I have 2 plastic ones and it is so hard to make sure they don't end up in the laundry, as opposed to staying with the dryer. I'd never be able to wrangle 6. Especially when the dog thinks all ball-shaped objects are belong to her.

I use 6 with regular loads and 12 with large loads. Been using them for a few years and love them. I hardly have anything that comes out with static but like another poster mentioned...some fabrics will always have static. I do wash them 2-3 times a year too.
