I'm just trying to figure out when I might start showing. I'm 5'11" and carry most of my height in my torso (can wear regular length pants!).
If you have a long body, when did you show? Pictures always appreciated

Pretty sure I have a long torso...I'm 5'7" and I would say I started showing around 22 weeks IF I was wearing tight clothes (that's when I got my first stranger comment about when I was due). I could have easily worm flowy tops to look not pregnant. I think it also depends on where you gain the weight and how the baby is situated. This is me at 22 weeks. Ha ETA that now looking at that photo, I don't think I look that pregnant at ALL in it! Maybe it's because I feel so much larger now at 30 weeks

I can't help you yet, as I'm the same height, but extra long in the legs! I have some friends with long torsos, though, and they didn't show for awhile!

I have a long torso, I always have to look for long and lean syle shirts or they never hit in the right spots. And this is me at 20 weeks with baby #3!

@hilsy85: wow, you looked great at 22 weeks!!! Thanks for sharing!!
@mrsjyw: What a small bump you had at 24, so cute
@sorrycharlie: I do! What's your handle?
@mrsmenow: Wow! Hardly showing at all at 20 weeks! You look great. I always have a huge issue buying shirts, kinda worried even mat tops won't be long enough.
I'm just really hoping to be showing pretty good by Christmas. I'll be 25 weeks then and making the 14 hour car trip home. Want my family to see my bump

I'm 5'4", but I have a long torso (and super short legs - ha). I started really showing around 21 weeks.
(Sorry for the really fuzzy/bad picture)

@sslm: I'm not tall AT ALL but I have a long torso. I'd say it was obvious for me at about 22w. People could kinda see I had a gut at 20-21 weeks but it wasn't until 22w that it was obvious.

Sounds like we're built the same, I'm 5'11", regular pants, tall shirts. I started to show around 18 weeks. I've had good luck with shirts from Gap and OldNavy. Motherhood Maternity is too short for me now that my belly is bigger (28 weeks). Not sure where you live, but H&M Maternity had some great, basic, long shirts too.
I'm not sure how to attach a picture, but if I figure it out, I'll send it your way!

I'm 5'9" and I would say I started showing at 20 weeks. Even though my bump looks small here, people could tell. Then every week it grew more and more!

@mrsmenow: ...is it weird that I always thought you were the lady in your avatar picture with the cat? hahaha
@mrskc: Umm is that your house?! LOVE that!

@sslm: I am the exact same height as you and also have a long torso. I was well into my 2nd trimester before people noticed I was pregnant.

long torso tends to show much later and appear lower. I have a short torso and my bump showed super early. Here i am at 18 weeks.

@MrsMccarthy: omgosh my love! You look so tiny here...I remember this when we all just got our positives:)

I have a long torso and long legs...and while I thought I looked pregnant early, most people said i didn't really look pregnant until the early 20s of weeks. I was able to wear my loosest pair of non-maternity jeans through about 18 weeks, and mixed maternity and non-maternity clothes throughout.

I'm also 5'11" and I think I started to show around 17 weeks, even tho people could tell because of how sick I was more than how big =] now I'm 33 weeks and I think I'm super big (baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead)
For some reason the add picture didn't work for me, but you can see my belly updates in the blog/diary I keep for my baby http://www.dearseed.com =]

@BabyBoecksMom: thanks for posting! You're so pretty!!!
@TurtleDoves: 22 weeks seems like the later end. I'm hoping to show earlier, fingers crossed
@mrskc: You look so cute and that hotel is cool!!
@MrsMccarthy: Yeah, my sisters friend has a very long torso and barely showed at all her whole pregnancy. While that sort of sounds awesome, I'd be bummed!
@MamaCate: I guess that's a perk I hadn't thought of, more use out of my non maternity clothes!
@howjoyful: I don't think you're huge at all, you look great!!!
