My DH still is worried about having a daughter.
He will still be happy with whatever we have but he would prefer to have a boy. All boys if it was possible.
He is kinda terrified if our daughter will be too good looking and terrified to think of what boys can do to her when she is older.
This is going to sound horrible but he and his best friend kinda hope that if we have a daughter that they would be lesbians.
It's not because we have anything against being gay (we are both for marriage equality) but my DH and his bf think there would be less stress knowing their daughters would be with a girl instead of a boy.
I can sorta see why he is terrified but I still don't fully understand why he is so scared of having a daughter.
Kinda makes me scared of boys/men if he is this scared. Are boys really that bad? What kinds of things do men think about that make my husband afraid to have a daughter?
We have a chance of having multiples in our first IUI cycle. DH is still kinda worried about the thought of having twins. He would be ok if we had a boy and a girl but I think he would have an heart attack if we conceived two girls.
Anyone else's DH or SO like this?
My DH bf has a daughter that was born about 6 months ago, I thought that his best friend's worry would decrease once his daughter was born but it sounds like it hasn't.
This lesbian thing idea is new to me. I never heard it until yesterday. My DH and his best friend have put A LOT of thought into this. Sheesh! LOL
This might also be because my husband does not have any sisters. He only has a brother so he hasn't had the experience of having a sister. His best friend is an only child. I think they are feeding off each other on this fear of having daughters.
