Hellobee Boards

When we still lived in our apartment we were friendly with our neighbors on one side of us, but not the other. The ones we weren't friendly with were so loud! They played music every day at the same time for a few hours. We could hear it in our entire apartment. I always gave them dirty looks.

I live in Boston. DH and I are pretty outgoing and friendly and say "hi" to just about everyone. If someone strikes up a conversation and we become friendly with them, cool - if not, that's fine, too. We have some neighbors that we hang outside and chat with and some we barely see/talk to.

My "across the street" neighbor, aka across the hall is my SIL. We USED to be friendly until she moved in next to me, now she's worn out her welcome. I wish awful things upon my upstairs neighbors, and I'm scared to meet my downstairs neighbors b/c I can hear the guy yelling at his wife every night lol, the woman under my SIL and I are "friendly", she knows my name, DH's name and the dog's name and talks to us when she sees me taking the dog out.

Overall I don't talk to my neighbors because they're all so loud, I wouldn't have nice things to say to them

We own and are pretty friendly with people. We have a shared garden area so that's where I met most of the people I know - just being in the right place at the right time when people are walking dogs or whatever.

Somehow I ended up on the condo board so now I feel like I know most of the people, although maybe some of them actually hate me LOL

we know everyone in our building and a lot of people who live on our block. we rent!

we are friendly with one of our neighbours they have a little girl too and they even bought us a gift when we brought LO home from the hospital. The others we just say hi to and thats about it

we live in an apartment. we're on the top floor and i only speak to the people on the bottom floor on the other side of the building. mostly because they are the only other household that speaks english, so some of the other people smile and wave or nod their heads at me, but we don't really communicate.

We try to be friendly with our neighbors, but my husband has given up. He always says good morning to people that he meets walking to his car in our complex and no one EVER says it back to him. I don't know what's wrong with people.
