Apparently $180 was my bargain price that pushed me over the edge. I got a used one. I am a self proclaimed techie on a budget though.

I bought one when it was on sale for $250. I actually really like it! I can read text messages on it, read emails, see my calendar and get other notifications. It's actually really useful when I workout, because it tracks steps, my heartrate, and how many calories I burn. And because I get text messages, my husband can reach me if there's an emergency (since he watches our kids), and I don't have to worry about checking my phone during my workout.

Newest sale is out, I was due for a phone upgrade so I went for the 6S and the watch. http://www.cnet.com/news/apple-watch-cut-to-49-at-best-buy-with-purchase-of-new-iphone/
@looch: Apparently you can take calls on the watch now. Although you'd have to be somewhere pretty private to be able to want to.
@aprild: How far does your bluetooth stay connected with it? Or do you carry your phone on you as well during workouts.
