@snarkybiochemist: yeah i can't keep waiting for it to happen spontaneously.
Also, is it bad I wanna be pregnant so I don't have to go to a friend's wedding in January? I don't like his fiancee.

@madisonbee: Totally justifiable. I used pregnancy/newborn as an excuse for a lot of things!

@madisonbee: understandable, it was born out of a deep place of denial thinking that even with pcos I was going to be the exception and that metformin would magically give me cycles back
Nope not a bad person for wanting to be pregnant for an excuse, I am thrilled that I won't have to travel for thanksgiving this year

OK super weird and prob TMI... I'm having the strangest buzzing/tapping sensation "down there". I'm going to attribute it to the Femara but it's driving me insane.
Also embarrassing... I went to get my monthly bikini wax today and the girl who I always see mentioned how it must be coming up on my ovulation time because I always come in right before. My husband is definitely going to know it's that time Lol

@mrskansas: I can't wait to use that excuse! Lol.
@snarkybiochemist: I have that same thought about being the exception. I'm glad it wasn't just me! I am so thrilled for you

@madisonbee: No big deal in my opinion. Is he a super close friend or just a friend? If he's super close, you should probably suck it up and go. If he's not that close, send a nice card and gift and stay home, pregnant or not! You're not obligated to go to someone's wedding.

@madisonbee: thanks, I think we all hope we are the exception

@dominobee: We're not as close as we used to be. I consider him a good friend still and DH is actually bummed about it. But they came to our wedding, ate, and then gave some BS excuse that his fiancee was sick only to find that she posted photos on FB of them sightseeing that same day AFTER our wedding. It's a cross country travel by plane, so it's not worth the plane tickets and hotel room for us.
I did decide to give a nice gift because we've been friends for almost 10 years now.

@madisonbee: Yeah, I really wanted to use that excuse, then had a loss so couldn't use it, but came up with another excuse. In this case it was international and would have been super expensive and was very close to zika areas, so ugh... it would have been so much better if I had a good excuse, but obviously losing my excuse was the least of things I was upset about...
and now I just lost my excuse not to travel at Christmas, I would have loved to spend the holiday break cuddling a new baby but now I will just be reminded of babies since it is a holiday celebrating the birth of a baby... oh well....

@periwinklebee: I am sorry this pregnancy wasn't sticky but I hope your recovery and smooth and you get your take home soon!

I'm only on CD 8. Really interested to see if this 100% positive tomorrow.

@periwinklebee: One step closer, but I know it must be so hard to wait. Thinking of you.
@mrskansas: CD8?? Wow!!!

So I woke up this morning and just had a feeling that it was gonna be peak day. Lo and behold, I was right! Got The solid happy face! I turns out the test date I arbitrarily picked at the beginning of my cycle is looking correct! I really hope it happens this month because there is a 90% chance hubby will be traveling across country for most of May!

@Marfi: I hope this is it!
@2littlepumpkins: Thanks, I started bleeding this morning and hope this makes things better soon. Last pregnancy I was really sad because I was attached to that pregnancy. This time there was no time for that but it has made me worried about the future...and the quality of my eggs...

I've been following this thread, just been so crazy busy with work and trying to stay working out again.
@periwinklebee: I'm sending you so many sticky baby vibes it's UNREAL!
@Mrs. Oreo: Also, eff that wedding. Unless you're my family or best friend, I'm not traveling out of state. That is unless I really want to go to the location lol
@Marfi: yayyyy!!!
@mrskansas: this is super interesting. I've found myself testing twice a day and have caught surges in the evening. Good luck! Start BDing!
I've thought about prescribing myself Femara, but since I've never been on it I'm nervous. This was a Clomid cycle and BFN this morning at 9 DPO. I know it's early but I found out with my daughter at this point so I was hoping against hope
nectarine / 2813 posts
@Mrs.Panda: Ugh sorry about the BFN.
For what it's worth, my experience with Femara has been so much better than with Clomid. It's worth a shot!

My OPK was dark this morning but still not positive. Considering it's super early I'm totally ok with it holding off for a couple days. I'm hoping I O Monday or Tuesday so I can BD over the weekend and not stress about how to make it happen during the week. Dang schedules.

@mrskansas: I bet it's just upping your natural levels a bit and you're right to wait. I always try to minimize the forced bd too! Fx!
@periwinklebee: I'm glad things are moving on ... sorry this is so hard
@Mrs.Panda: fx for better news tomorrow!

Thank you all
@Mrs.Panda: sorry about the bfn....still hopeful for you!

And now I'm noticing EWCM. Good thing we BD'd last night just in case.
My insurance covers up to 6 ultrasounds per medicated cycle so I might just go in so I know what's going on. I hate uncertainly.

@Mrs.Panda: sorry about the bfn. Every pregnancy is different so it's still possible but it is hard to wait on AF when it feels like you're out. Fingers crossed.

@mrskansas: Oh dang that is awesome insurance! GL w/ your timing this month!

@mrskansas: holy crap that is awesome. Get it done!
Thanks for the words, guys. Please know that I am a crazy person. I bought some FRERs at lunch and took a test and have total line eyes. I'm aware that I can fabricate lines on a blank sheet of paper. This was after lunch and in person I fee like I see the shadowiest shadow. I will retest in the morning when I'm 10 DPO.
ETA yes I am at work lol
nectarine / 2813 posts
@Mrs.Panda: I can almost see a shadow but I also can imagine lines like no other. Almost all of my FRERs lately have also had visible indent lines so definitely test in the morning!
clementine / 874 posts
@Mrs.Panda: I almost think I see a shadow, too. Not sure if I just have line eye though. Fingers crossed!!!!

Here is another pic and then no more unless something real happens. Thanks for feeding the crazy, guys. This process just super sucks.
nectarine / 2813 posts
@Mrs.Panda: The limbo sucks. Hopefully there is a clear line in the morning!
