@Mrs.Panda: I didn't see anything at first then I looked at it again and I think I see a shadow. I'm trying not to start tilting my monitor at work--the other nurses will think I'm crazy.

@Mrs. Oreo: Hahaha I can't see anything on them when I look at them online here. Sigh.
What kind of nurse are you?

@Mrs.Panda: Ooooh GI is NOT my thing. I'm a bones and brain type of gal.

@Mrs.Panda: I can also see a line in almost everything so I'm not the best person to ask. lol That said, I'm rooting for that to be a clear line tomorrow!!

Positive or still not there? CD 9. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday but doesn't look like I'm going to make it.

@periwinklebee: I feel like we are the same person. Ha. Sept 2017 due dates, then miscarriage, then a CP our first cycle after the miscarriage. I've been thinking about you and sending big hugs. As horrible as it is to say, I'm glad you started bleeding so that you can move forward with the cycle. Hopefully things normalize quickly!

@mrskansas: I'd assume positive enough ... you might get a stronger one tomorrow but good to cover your bases!

@bhbee: hopefully tomorrow is my peak day and then I ovulate on CD 12. Anything earlier just seems too early!!
nectarine / 2358 posts
@mrskansas: I would definitely consider it positive since I'm sure if you had waited an hour or so more it would have been darker. Good luck!!

@mrskansas: I don't know for sure but I definitely consider that fertile enough to try!!

@Mrs.Panda: I vote retest in the morning. Honestly I don't see it but a) 9dpo is early and b) I suck at squinters!

@theotherstark: Thank you I'm sorry - it really sucks. I hope that you are doing ok.
I'm glad to put this one behind me. Hopefully AF won't be much longer than normal, since it was only a week late, and my cycle will go right back to normal. I would like to take time off, but I'm paranoid that then of course we'd miss the one good egg that almost never comes around, ugh, so we'll keep trying.

Positive OPK this morning on the digital opk. Only CD13 so this is 3-4 days earlier than I thought I would get one. I'm so glad I started using these this month or I probably would've missed the window!

@bushelandapeck: whoohooo!!! I have a crap ton of cheapie OPKs, but I think when I get a positive, I'll probably splurge on a digital to confirm.
pomelo / 5720 posts
@periwinklebee: thanks!
@Mrs.Panda: this is only our second cycle and first using OPKs. I've used these in the past and also had the CBEFM when I got pregnant the first time. I should've started them last month but I thought I could figure it out on my own.
@Mrs. Oreo: I've never tried the cheap ones because I'm OCD and would drive myself crazy wondering if the line was dark enough!
Question: do we need to BD today and tomorrow and just assume O will happen as it should or BD more days just to make sure? I've been googling all morning but everyone's responses are different. Also, do I keep testing with OPKs? You'd think I've never done this before
nectarine / 2358 posts
My test this morning looked the same, a shadow. I think I'm just working myself up.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@bushelandapeck: I would kee testing with OPKs until you get a negative, but I've heard that the first positive but is what you would go off anyway. BD today, tomorrow, then skip a da and do one more, according to Sperm Meets Egg Plan.

@bushelandapeck: Hopefully that means a nice long luteal phase for you!
@mrs.panda: I don't see it
@mrskansas: I would call that close enough, esp since there is a range for when women ovulate after a positive OPK. Get busy!

@Mrs.Panda: that sounds good. That's what I was thinking. Thanks!
@dominobee: here's hoping! How are you feeling??

I've been having light period-like cramping in the evenings the past few days, which is right around the time my progesterone is wearing off and it's time for another suppository. I'm wondering if this means AF is gearing up to come. When I've been on Clomid I've had uterine sensations leading up to my period so this would fit with the pattern. In prior months I've let myself believe it was implantation which just led to disappointment. So this month I'm kind of assuming AF is going to show.
But I'm curious, will being on progesterone delay AF? I haven't POAS'd yet, though I was seriously considering it yesterday at 11 DPO and resisted. AF due tomorrow according to my recent pattern of 27 day cycles, not counting the two super shorties on Clomid (23 and 24 days). So at least my LP is longer this cycle.

@bushelandapeck: LOL I answered your question before I even knew you asked it! Incredibly I'm not freaking out this cycle. I haven't even obsessively googled anything TTC-related! I'm attributing it to more exercise which has lead to an overall better mental state.

OPK was negative this morning so my body is just messing with me.
@dominobee: The progesterone can delay AF so I'd test this morning or tomorrow.
@Mrs.Panda: The uncertainty sucks, I'm sorry. It's still early though!
pomelo / 5720 posts
@dominobee: glad to hear that exercise is helping your overall mental health this month! I definitely notice a difference in how I feel if I go even a few days without exercising. It's a great distraction and it improves my mood significantly.

@dominobee: We have been BDing just in case but I did read a few places online (thanks Google) that if you use OPKs too soon after taking Clomid/Femara is can cause a false positive. My last pill was CD 8 so it would make sense.
I also don't have much CM so I know it's not happening quite yet, but hopefully soon!

@dominobee: I typically had about 72 hrs btwn the last progesterone suppository and when my period would start.
pear / 1553 posts
@mrskansas: Oh weird. I didn't know that! I started OPKs two days early this month - just got mixed up about where I was in my cyle - so I did them CD 9-14 and didn't get a positive til 14. Guess I just got lucky because that would have been *really* confusing.
pear / 1553 posts
@snarkybiochemist: Ok well they gave me 21 suppositories. Now I'm confused about if I'm supposed to take them all, since I didn't start until CD 19 (was supposed to start CD 17 but screwed up). That would take me through CD 40!
nectarine / 2180 posts
@dominobee: I usually got 14 at a time, and was told to stop them once I got a negative Beta usually around 12 DPO. Are they doing a blood pregnancy test or did they just tell you to take a home test and call if it was positive?
nectarine / 2813 posts
@dominobee: Yeah it is confusing, but technically mine weren't completely positive yet so I wasn't convinced.
Oh well!!
pear / 1553 posts
@snarkybiochemist: They told me to call in when I get my period or "delay of menses"!! So now I'm extra confused. Since obviously menses will be delayed significantly if I'm still on progesterone daily.
