I think I'm going to switch from a cheerleader to a POASer this month. 5 weeks after my D&c I finally got AF. We were thinking of taking this cycle off (doc advised waiting 2 or even 3 cycles) but we are now leaning towards just getting right back in the game. Am I being stupid?
If we decide I go for it, my date will be April 27! -
I got another high reading on the cbe digital last pm and another this morning. No peak yet which I'm grateful for since we haven't been able to BD for a few days. I feel like I will turn to peak today or tomorrow so Hopefully we can have some down time tonight or tomorrow morning. This has been my husbands craziest week of work in a long time (including working today and a work dinner that we are all going to this evening).

@Adira: the 'egg meets sperm' programme recomends doing it EOD on the run up to ovulation (from day 8) until you get a positive OPK and then doing it every day for 3 days, then leaving a day and then doing it one more time. Apparently that optimizes the chances of sperm being in the tubes ready for the egg. Check out more info here
I'm going to try this this month. Doing it more than once a day is not a good idea for sure.

@Mrs.Lilac: The cycle that worked for us we hit 0-3, 0-2 and 0-1.. so I highly recommend BD as much as you can. good luck!!! And also make sure to at least BD every 3 - 5 days to keep the sperm fresh.

@littlek: thanks, I am not going to manage that this cycle as I'm going away in a week and I get back on my estimated o day so we will just have to BD on O day then a few more days after. That's if I'm not already KU which il find out next Wednesday hopefully!
I'm getting very scared to POAS. I'm 11dpo At the moment and not feeling any symptoms so expecting a bfn but who knows

Got my peak egg on my monitor today cd 15! Thankfully, we were able to bd yesterday on the last high day. We've hit O-2, and O-1 so far!

@Mrs.Lilac: Wow, that's doing it WAAAAAY too often for me, haha! Especially since I had no idea when I was going to ovulate - starting at CD 8 and going EOD would've been brutal!

@Adira: well, that is assuming you have a regular 'normal' cycle where you ovulate around day 14 which not many people do. If you know you ovulate later, you can adapt the timings. It seems like a lot for sure. It's like everything we hear when TTC, there is lots of conflicting information! Do whatever is comfortable but what I have picked up mainly from that technique is to carry on DTD for a few days after you get the positive OPK. I hope it works this cycle...

@snowjewelz: Well, I tested today and it was a BFN. Even though AF is being really weird (I suppose this is where temping would have helped), I'm going to estimate that I'll be testing around April 30th. Bring it on!

I was posting back in the March board! I tested at 10 DPO and got a faint line, then again on 13 DPO and got a strong positive! -

Got my peak on the digital opk today. I never can figure out if I'm ovulating day of peak or day after (cramps are today). Bd last night and maybe today or tonight. Either way my period will be due 4/12 and I will try to hold of poas til 4/13!

It's the last day of March and it's snowing right now! Winter just won't leave!

First day of the tww! Well, it's really a 13 day wait for me but who's counting :). I was much busier last tww and I still symptom spotted so in sure in a week I will be in full on crazy mode!

@winniebee: Fx for yooou! I was symptom spotting since 1 DPO haha. I had a ton of those pinching sensations from day 1-5, and actually didn't feel much from days 6-10!
