@buffalove: @locavore_mama: I must know the answer to this, as well!!! They were HUGE where I was growing up, and I'm so glad to be in a city where they're a thing again. I personally prefer sides of mac and cheese with my fish....mmmmm We went to a few last year, but to be honest, I was bummed at the quality. Must. Find. Good. Fish!

They are everywhere in this Great Lakes Region!

The Catholic church I grew up attending in (suburb of LA) had a fish fry during Lent. That's the only place I've seen hush puppies in California.
