I totally don't get the Twilight stuff or Shades of Grey, plus a lot of the current fashion things leave me confused.
What popular trends are you not a fan of?

@photojane: my point exactly. I live in Canada, where it's cold and I've never even tried on a pair. They aren't pretty and are damn expensive.

I keep seeing in magazines a skirt (like picture knee length), with another dress over it. It looks really weird.

The whole hi-low hemline thing. To me it looks like someone cut the front of your dress or you're getting screwed out of the the rest of the dress. Not a fan.

i admit to enjoying twilight... but shades of grey is just bad writing - at least in my opinion.
it's been 100 degrees where i live and just saw a girl wearing uggs and a miniskirt the other day. uhhh, so weird... why have sweaty feet?

I have to admit- I do love me some Uggs! But that may be bc I only get to wear them when traveling to cold places...They make me feel like a snowbunny:)

Ugg boots are very popular here in Australia although I would never wear them out of the house!!! They are like slippers and I don't see anyone wearing them down to the shops... Lol

Twilight- love the books but the movies are meh...
Haven't read 50 shades yet.
Jeggings I don't get on ANYONE. Pick a pant people not both!! And usually the people that do wear them probably shouldn't be- they are not flattering.
Feathers in hair- I haven't even heard or seen of that! Lol
Ombré hair is weird.... Why would you want to look like you have bad regrowth?!

i'm actually loving the reappearance of neon, when it's subtle. and i just had a glittery ring finger nail on each hand before i redid them 'cause they were chipping
the trends i just don't get:
exposed thong underwear. WHY?
and tevas/birkenstocks worn for fashion not for comfort. ugly!

Oh geez.... I love all these trends you hate lol. I have turqoise in my hair, love uggs, love neon, love twilight, had ombre hair, love to paint the accent nail. Now I feel trashy or something lol!

Don't get Twilight, Fifty Shades, neon, and especially leggings as pants. Especially to places like a church or a funeral with a blazer, and a short top, like that somehow makes it all better.

I loooove uggs! Love them! But I wear them correctly, as in: when it's snowy and with pants. I hate the ombré hair and mismatched nails and....men in skinny jeans. But everyone seems to hate uggs so I guess we're even, me and society:)

Kinda different, as it isn't fashion related, but AMC original programming. It seems that all my friends love everything, while I have exactly 0 interest in any of it.

@jholler25: agree with you on the uggs! I have been wearing them every fall and winter since the 11th grade. I definitely don't rock them with a mini skirt though.
And I LOVE guys in tight jeans!

Colored skinny jeans...they look good on some people but I can NOT pull them off with this post-preg body!
