Going through my stuff now, and I have tons of piano scores that I spent a lot of college learning and practicing. I marked up the scores in pencil, and looking at them brings me so many memories! But I never ever look at them and so I am going to donate them.
Are there things in your house you never use or look at, but don't really want to throw away?

College textbooks/notes, certain clothes/accessories, lots of toys. We are pack rats.

Doesn't everyone?? My high school prom dresses are still in my closet at my parents house- my daughters can play with them one day.
Living in a condo though, we do try not to hang on to too many things like that. For us our problem is more, well we might use that / need that some day...

Almost everything that is crammed into our spare room/office! Books, gadgets, clothes!

Yes, but it's all stuff I intend to use eventually. Like my old children's books that sit on a shelf somewhere until the kids can read them, camping stuff, figure skates... the sort of thing you can't easily find again if you get rid of it.

I think everyone does. I'm not a packrat by any means but I do think some things hold sentimental value. My mom saved some childhood items of mine that I am so happy to be able to share with LO, even though they spent 20+ years in storage. I loved looking at my parents' high school yearbooks and things like that! The sentimental side of me hopes you will save some momentos for Olive and Charlie!

We each have a box where we keep sentimental things... old journals, knicknacks from college, childhood toys, framed photos. If it doesn't fit in the box, it goes!
ETA: that being said, our actual house is full of junk we NEED to throw away.

Definitely! I have a box of high school mementos - notes, pictures, movie stubs- ha! And another box of me and DH's dating/engagement memorabilia (movie stubs, matchboxes from restaurants, letters, etc).
I also have a box of sheet music because I played piano and violin. I don't want to get rid of it though cause I still very occasionally play.
And don't get me started on some of the clothing items I haven't been able to get rid of...
