I am a daddy's girl for sure, but not in a spoiled annoying way. We just tend to agree on most things, and we have a lot of respect for each other. I love my mom too of course, and we are very close, but I'm definitely a "daddy's girl".

Growing up I was definitely a Daddy's Girl, but these days I would probably be MUCH closer to my mom since DS and I lived with her for a few years..... she's muh bestie next to DH.

Mom's. It's actually the only reason I have a slight preference for this LO to be a girl-- because I'm so close to my mom.

Daddy's girl for sure. Similar to you @Bao: ! I still totally love my mom and we get along great, but me and my dad just have a little something special!

Neither.
I have a great relationship with both but I wouldn't say I'm a mommy's or daddy's girl.

Mum for sure. I rarely speak to my dad... My wedding was the first time I'd seen him in almost 5 years

Neither really but if I had to choose I would say Daddy's girl, since we think the same.

Mommy's girl for sure. My dad was an alcoholic so wasn't really part of my life.

I was a big daddy's girl growing up. Especially in the preteen/teen years when my mom and I were always at each other's throats. But I grew closer to my mom in adulthood and was always emotionally closer to her than my dad.

Daddy's girl. I've always understood/related to my dad better than my mom, probably because our personalities are so similar. My oldest sister is the one that's always been super close to mom.

Daddy's girl, even so now, which is why I was so scared to have a girl. My mom and i didn't really get along when i was growing up, but we're working on it...I just know I have to make an effort to bond with my baby girl so we don't have to wait 25 years to understand each other. (:

I was a daddy's girl when I was really little but now I'm waaaay closer to my mom.

I was such a daddy's girl growing up, which was hard for my mum because my dad was an alcoholic who wouldn't get a job - whereas my mum worked three part-time jobs to feed us and pay the bills and she looked after the house. I, of course, saw past all of that. My says now that we were like a club of two and we used to gang up against her. The truth was my dad was so much fun (he'd wake me up in the middle of the night night - after a full day and night in the pub - because he'd bought me a new book or wanted to tell me about Karl Marx!) whereas my mum made me go to bed/brush my hair/eat my veg/[insert appropriate parental responsibilities here]. When my dad left home (without saying a word - I didn't hear from him again for 5 years), I slept with his drum sticks under my pillow for an entire year. He was my best friend in the world!

Mommy's girl! I love my mom. She's my Best friend besides DH. I can tell her anything. I love my dad and all, but we've never been really close. My middle sister is his fave and I'm totally okay with that!

My dad died when I was 15. He wasn't around much but I was very much a daddy's girl. I have always had mixed feels about my father & as an adult. I'm not sure if we would even have a relationship anymore if he was still alive. I can say that even with my father being gone that I have not switched over to being a momma's girl.

Growing up I was a total mommy's girl, but as an adult I have switched to being a daddy's girl. My dad and I have much more in common in adulthood.

I've always been super independent.
Although I love (and always have) my parents dearly, I have never been super tight with one of them.

I'm a very independent person too, and I can't say that I've ever been "super tight" with my dad. But I'm a daddy's girl technically because my mom died when I was 3.

I'm a total daddy's girl, have been for as long as I remember.
