Do you follow the sports teams from your college? I do occasionally but I am no diehard fan.

I graduated from a private college and I don't follow their teams, but the state's university where DH attended for awhile we are diehard fans, this is pretty much the entire state here!

YES! Go blue!! I think it is easier to root with passion when your DH graduated from the same school.

Nope, my school (large, west coast public university) was more known for academics than for sports

@LuLu Mom: you're in NE, right? AMEN to that!
DH and I both went to private east-coast schools, but are only die-hard fans of the local state school. Growing up here will do that to you.

My avatar would suggest otherwise, but I don't follow them as much as I used to. I watch football games more than basketball, but I will follow them during the tournament.

I am. DH and I went to rival schools, makes college football season very interesting around here!

Nope, I went to a small school so there's not a lot of national coverage of the sports teams.

@Weagle: Hahahaha - Glad to see another (non-Florida Non-Tennessee) SEC fan here!

Not my college- we don't have a football team and the basketball program is pretty bad these days. But I have been a huge fan of the UNC Tar Heels (especially basketball) since I was very little.

My school was small but DH is a die hard fan and, as a result, I am too! We're both lifetime members of the alumni association even though I didn't go there, LOL. I have more clothing from his school than my own!
SPARTANS BABY!

@LindsayInNYC: No. I spent some time there though. I guess it could be worse, you could be a Michigan fan.

Diehard? Nope. I am very proud of my school so I'll support the teams when I can. The school is what got me to where I am today, not their athletic program.

@meredithNYC: hoo-hoo-Hoosiers!
@Mrs.Someone: ha, did we go to the same school?

Yes! Woo Pig Sooie!
DH cheers for LSU IN football and Duke in basketball. He was pretty bummed about their loss tonight.

Sports were not a big thing at my undergrad alma mater ...

Dh got his masters at SDSU and we follow their sports programs closely. One if the first outfits we bought dd when we found out she was a girl was a little san Diego state cheerleader dress

I'm a fan but not a diehard fan of my college team.
