I noticed recently that a lot of the shows that our kids are into these days are from the PBS Kids lineup (past and present): Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Super Why!, WordGirl, Wild Kratts, etc. I've been pretty amazed at how much the kids can learn from cartoons!

I love PBS in general but am a big fan of PBS Kids. My daughter has recently found Curious George and is absolutely in love with him. She also likes watching Daniel Tiger.

No. I don't even know what show it is, but there's a show with kids (secret agents maybe?) And a mad scientist and it bugs me!!

Yes, especially now that I've slipped a bit and let DS watch a little non PBS (mostly its cousin Sprout, but still). The lack of commercials for annoying toys in itself is worth its weight in gold.

@mrbee: oops - Its Zoboomafoo! But the Kratt Brothers are in it - its awesome!!! My DSS's use to watch it when they were little (they are now 18 and 21)

Along the same lines, Arthur always comes on but I can't tell what age that show is intended for. Some of the plots/stories seem a bit much for a 3 year old.

@anonysquire: The show is Odd Squad. Its alright, Ive seen it a few times. Its a bit older for my son but the girl I babysit who is 8 enjoys it so I think it might be better suited for older children
I love PBS and PBS Kids. Drake loves Will Kratts, Super Why, and Daniel, Juliet loves Sesame Street and I love Downton. My MIL supports PBS heavily so whenever we watch shows on the channel I say brought to us thanks to viewers like grandma

Yes, he loves them ALL, so it's usually on in the background at some point in the day. I don't find any particularly obnoxious like on other channels, -plus very few commercials, so I'm a big fan!

@mrbee: @Mamaof2: I totally didn't realize that the Kratt brothers were in Zoboomafoo! My little brother used to watch it and my little guy LOVES Wild Kratts- heck, I use Wild Kratts when teaching my students (adults).

L is super in to Daniel tiger, Thomas, and dinosaur train. We don't have cable though so we stream it all on amazon prime.

I grew up watching PBSKids...Zooboomafoo, as well as the Kratt Brothers earlier show (I think it was just called The Kratt Brothers? Don't remember), so I'm super excited that there's still a Kratt brothers show on! Lettie isn't quite old enough for it but the little girl (3) we babysit loves Wild Kratts and I love how educational it is--even I learn a lot from it! Definitely not annoying like some kid shows can be. I also really enjoyed Zoom and Arthur on PBSKids when I was little, and think Super Why! is really great too. I'm not the biggest Daniel Tiger fan, but I do think the songs teach great lessons (I just can't get over that Daniel doesn't wear pants but the mom does and he wears pajama pants...totally silly, I know. But for some reason i always notice it 
It doesn't bother me in an offended or anything way, just in a since-I-noticed-it-I-only-stare-at-which-characters-are-wearing-pants way).

I have a love hate relationship with pbs. I love a number of the shows you have mentioned (wild Kratts, super why, dinosaur train). And I hate a few because the main characters just whine (caillou, Thomas, max and ruby).
We have the app on devices so little man will watch whatever he wants. Wild Kratts is also on netflix.
