I wish I were a better taker... I'm trying to get better at accepting things when they are offered!
Are you a giver or a taker?

Total giver. Always been, but I've learned to regulate it I'm not much of a taker either, unless it's from someone I really trust/I'm in a happy mood. I guess I need to work on that too.

I think I am both, but in my relationship, more of a taker. But that is ONLY because SO insists on being a giver, so I sort of fell into the taker role.

@IRunForFun: I think I'm the same way. I'm both but DH has put me in the taker role in our relationship too because he's SUCH a giver.
I'm working on making it more equal.

@Mr. Bee:
You know what I am! Sounds like you've been doing some reading.

At work and with my friends and family, I'm very much a giver and I struggle to accept help/compliments etc. In my relationship with DH, I probably take more than I give....

@.twist.: I try to make it more equal as well, but what I've learned is that the best thing I can do is thank him and really appreciate him for the things that he "gives." I honestly think being appreciated makes him feel better than "taking" from me, if that makes sense. He thrives on appreciation and knowing he's done something good for me.

I'm a HUGE giver, and have a hard time receiving. I think it's something my parents instilled in me since childhood. Always give, and rarely receive.

@IRunForFun: Ah, that's a really good point! Thanks! I'll keep that in mind for future givings
