Umm... I'm not. My husband bought birthday cake Oreos. You don't want to know how many I just housed while browsing Hellobee. I can't help it, I love carbs and sweets!

Maybe a few times a week? I love unhealthy snacks!

Totally depends on my mood. I think I'm mostly a middle-of-the-road snacker (crackers, popcorn, plantain chips-- things that aren't good for you but not horrible either). But lately my go-to is either an apple or banana with some peanut butter.

I eat mostly fruit for a snack, but if I am somewhere where I am able to purchase a muffin then I will go for it.

I've been wanting to try those!
It depends on my mood. I try to choose healthy snacks, but sometimes only chocolate or ice cream will do!

I'm generally a healthy snacker...fruit or veggies with dip, nuts. Lately I've been making hardboiled eggs. I've been trying to find "healthy" sweets to fill that craving.

I like to snack on peanuts, crackers & cheese, popcorn... But if I'm in a bad mood, I'm a baked lays kinda snacker

I generally can manage with a piece of fruit for a snack, but I've learnt the hard way I can't keep chocolate in the house or I'll just snack on that!

@Mrs. High Heels: They are SO good!
@mrs.cookie: I always tell my husband not to buy Oreos. They're my weakness! I don't have willpower.

@Pepper: if you like Oreos, have you tried Joe Joe's from trader joe's?? They are even better than Oreos - the vanilla ones with vanilla cream are my biggest weakness!

@Mrs. High Heels: No! We are getting a Trader Joes in my area in a few months. I will keep those in mind!

@pepper: I know, they are mine too especially as they are dairy free (I'm nursing my dairy allergic baby) - unfortunately not calorie free though!!

Usually I am...fruit/yogurt/granola cereal...until I ate nearly half a bag of pita chips and a ton of hummus today.

Kinda. I try to be healthy, but I do love my sweets. That's gonna have to change though because I was just diagnosed with GD today

For the most part since I avoid having unhealthy food in the house so that I'm not tempted!
eggplant / 11824 posts
Yes, mostly because we don't keep any chips/candy/processed sweets in the house. So I eat a lot of hummus and carrots/celery, nuts, cheese and these homemade quinoa superfood power bar things I make and *love* for snacks.
That said, I went on a carb binge/Hulk-like carb withdrawal rage after dinner and tore apart the freezer to find the one frozen pizza we had and just microwaved and ate it....for dessert. so clearly, I have room for improvement.

Not really.. but if we have fruit and such I do like snacking on that.. we just don't usually have too many options though. I LOVE grapes to snack on.

@lilteacherbee: oh nos! I'm so sorry Mine is coming very soon & I'm terrified of failing.
Middle of the road, in general I'm pretty healthy, however, if I want something (like the Swiss miss roll I had a few mins ago) I'm gonna throw it down.

@yoursilverlining: care to share the recipe for that homemade quinoa super foods powerbar?
apricot / 335 posts
@yoursilverlining: ooh yum. I'd love it too! I make a delicious apple peanut butter muesli slice that is super yum and doesn't last long in this house!

I was way more healthy while pregnant, I only snacked on fruit. Now it's all gone downhill, I need to run back to the produce stand!

I think so. My typical snack is citrus or melon or apple/ peanut butter or yogurt or nuts and raisins. DH says my snacks are bad because they contain sugar, but its natural sugar.

More healthy than not. I eat fruit as a snack. Finding good gluten free snacks is hard

@yoursilverlining: Your "Hulk-like carb withdrawal rage" cracked me up. I do that too and will find whatever hidden morsel of junk I can in my overall-pretty-healthy house. The other day I ate basically an entire bag of chocolate chips that was taped shut and sealed away inside a big ziploc of other baking stuff.
So yes, I eat pretty healthy most of the time, because I can't be trusted to have a moderate balance!

I am still working on this one. I usually have "healthy" sweet treats like Lara Bars, fruit, trail mix, dark chocolate, but I am starting to have more veggie sticks, hard boiled eggs, etc. because I can definitely get a little carried away.
That being said, I found a recipe for Paleo Cookie Crisp that I am totally making today.
