It's my husband's birthday today and I just started on his cake like half hour ago. I don't know why I always wait for last minute to do things. That said, I work much better under pressure. I don't know why I always give myself this kind of stress though.

I do work better under pressure, but I'm not good at making my own pressure. I need someone else to give me a deadline and then it will get done! otherwise, I will forever procrastinate.

I am a master procrastinator. But some of my best work has been done at the last minute.

No. I was that student that all my classmates hated because I did the work right when it was assigned. So while they were all up all night finishing their papers, I was fast asleep

Im a dreadful procrastinator. I get myself really stressed when Im short on time to complete something but time and time again I leave things to the last minute. I have no idea if I would work better with less pressure because I never give myself that chance! One things for sure, without pressure from others and looming deadlines, Id never get anything done!

Ugh. I'm a huge procrastinator! I'm the most productive & decisive when under pressure...wether it's work, packing, shopping, etc. Drives me crazy since I wish I was less of a procrastinator.

@Cherrybee: I hear ya. I'm exactly the same. I try to give myself deadlines that are earlier than the actual deadline but it doesn't work because I know it's just a made up deadline.

Oh yeah, I work best under pressure. But like a PP said, not my own pressure, it needs to be a deadline someone else has given me. I'm a newspaper reporter and some of my best stuff has been written right before deadline because I know I have to sit down, concentrate and get it done. If I know I have a lot of time, I get distracted.

World's biggest procrastinator right here, but actually, that works out well for me. I've always worked best under pressure and my best work is produced when I am under a major time crunch. Even back in my college days, I would do a thousand times better on a paper I cracked out last minute, with no time for revision or changes, than I would do on papers where I had time to revise and edit them. That most definitely has carried over into my work life as well.
DH is the complete opposite though and my style of doing things drives him absolutely nuts!

I'm definitely not! I used to complete my homework at least a week before it was due.

I am so glad I'm no longer in school because I am definitely a procrastinator. I never wrote a paper before the night before it was due. I guess I work well under pressure, though, because I graduated college with a 3.7. Not too shabby!

I'm in grad school and I would say I'm a much better grad student than undergrad, except I'm still a TERRIBLE procrasinator. I always hate myself. But, I do think I work much better under pressure.
