In between. We set savings goals that are pretty aggressive. But once those are met I dont hesitate to spend the surplus! I work hard for my money and I think as long as Im being responsible and planning for the future why shouldn't I also get to enjoy the fruits of my labor!

Definitely saver. I get more excited when I put money into my savings account than I do when I'm shopping... Is that sad?!

I'm mostly a saver, but I have areas that I cut myself some slack in such as handbags and the *mothership* (the salon).

I'm a spender but since meeting Hops, I've been better at saving. I get play money each month and can spend it on anything I want. If it's gone by the 15th, I'm screwed!

I'm not really good at saving money other than auto save but I don't think I'm a big spender. If I buy, I try to make it last a long time or make sure I get the best deal I can.

I'm mostly a saver. My husband is DEFINITELY a saver. But I go on these shopping binges from time where I'll buy like $500 worth of clothes/shoes in a month and then not buying something for like 6 months.

Both! I have to save a certain amount per month, but once that happens and all the other bills are paid, I have nooooooo problem spending! It's my money, I work hard for it - I want to enjoy it a little in the moment as well as long term.

Can I be a spaver?
We always put a set amount into savings every month, play with the rest, then if there's anything left after that it goes into savings, too. In that sense, I'm a good saver.
That said, I'm also a tiny bit of a shopaholic, but I *never* pay full price. So I shop, but I save while I spend.

BOTH! Def on a budget every month which allocates all of our savings/retirement/etc. which is a significant chunk of our paychecks, but in that budget is my "free" money every month too!

We are both savers but if there is something we want we will spend for it.

I'm a saver. DH is a spender--so I manage all the $$. We don't save as much as I'd like because of his spending, but it has improved.

Saver, but now that I am not working, I have nothing to save, so I spend! As I say to my husband, I'm a cost center now, not a revenue generator!

We are probably both the same. Splurge when we can but save when we have to. We know our limits and never put ourselves further in debt for no good reason. We know couples who take out a mortgage to buy a boat. Thats just crazy!
