Are you a snob about anything?

    Houses, manners, and cold water.

Houses because I build, design, and renovate them for a living and cannot stand sh*tty construction/materials.

Manners because I think it's important to show others respect.

And I absolutely will not drink room temperature water. During pregnancy DH would sweetly bring me a glass of water. If it wasn't chilled "enough" I'd get my huge belly off the sofa to pour it out. I'd try so hard to not be a brat about it but I just couldn't deal. Pathetic, I know.

I don't think I'm a snob about anything, really - certainly not make up, clothing, handbags or anything else I can buy at the local supermarket! I like instant coffee, eating at chain restaurants and drinking the house white. I like chick lit as much as the next girl-on-a-sunlounger! I'm just not fussy!

@oliviaoblivia: I'm a total water snob. I don't like room temperature water, I don't like tap water, I prefer it to at least be Brita filtered. My preferred bottled water is Aquafina and I won't touch Arrowhead.

I'm a beer snob who believes there's a place for miller lite and bud lite lime...and a book snob who likes the occasional light read.

@septemberlove: I'm kind of a snob about using the proper word when it comes to their/there, than/then, whose/who's etc. I used to work with really smart people who were notoriously bad about this and it drove me crazy!

I'm a paper snob, mainly for *formal* invitations. Regular invites, I could care less, but if they're expecting an expensive gift (and it's actually mentioned on the invite), I expect a real (actual) invite that's not made with copy paper.

@betsyboop: This also drives me crazy. I have a horrible ability to pick up misspelled words very easily and their/there/they're especially pops out to me. I have picked up client correspondence from prior years (my firm sending the letter/email) and have found glaring spelling errors. It kills me a little inside. Spell check can only take you so far.

@BabyBruins: haha that is too funny because i dislike aquafina so much!! It is fine when it is chilled, but it tastes so bad at room temperature. Hehe, i am just thinking about how angry i used to get when certain universities only carried dasani or aquafina.

The bagel thread just reminded me that I'm kind of a bagel snob (among other things). Why aren't there any good bagels where I live?! Now I want to make some bagels today...

I'm a clothing, makeup, and food snob. My DH tells me I'm way too high maintenance. Lol

Omg & I'm probably a bigger shoe snob than any of the above that I listed. I love good shoes and don't care how much they cost!
