I sure don't like them. A camp I worked in during the summers was in a forest and thousands of daddy long legs nested on the patio eaves. it was soooo nasty!

Deathly afraid! And we seem to have so many around our house, it creeps me out!

Really scared. So is DH and all his brothers, they make me laugh the way all 5 of them stand there, big strapping lads, shaking and calling their tiny mum to come and hoover spiders up, lol.

major major arachnophobia. I can spot them in complete darkness. I also sat in my room crying for 4 hours once when I saw one on the ceiling, no one was home and DH (then boyfriend) refused to come over to kill it. He kept telling me to vacuum it up.
eta: I can't even look at a picture of them without feeling like I'm going to puke

@reese: Same!! haha
I hate them with a passion, but not as much as I hate house centipedes!!! OMG they literally make me ill at the very sight of them!

Yes, and snakes. I always think I'm going to die if they get too close to me! Even the little baby ones!

@CottonCandy: Ahh I HATE those things! They give me the heebie-jeebies!

@babycanuck: I can completely relate! I have nightmares about spiders and can't go back to sleep until DH checks ALL the covers and pillows and ceiling, etc to make sure we are spider free. I can't vacuum them because I think they will build a web and multiply inside it before DH can come home and empty the canister.

@futuremrsmck: I know right?! We have them in our garage and house sometimes...They like to hide in our closets. Talk about terrifying!

@mamabear57: haha, interesting! I do think DH gets a little creeped out by the big ones though.

I don't think anything that can walk laterally is of this world. They are from a dark, evil world. Crabs is another example of creatures that can walk sideways. Shiver...

@mrsroo yes!! The other problem I can't get out of my head...my MIL brought in a cactus once (it has since died and been disposed of) but apparently tarantulas nest in them. You can't even imagine the anxiety I went through day in and day out having that thing in my kitchen.

Spiders are awesome because they eat insects. I let spiders live. I can look at a Daddy Long Legs without an issue, but a fuzzy tarantula gives me the hebejebes.
Did you know on average a person will swallow six spiders in their lifetime?

Hellz yes! I always tell my DH this is why God gave us a son... so he can kill spiders for me. =)
