Do you and your SO feel like you're both on the same team, and that you're working together to raise your LO?
How have you guys cultivated a sense of teamwork and partnership in raising your little one?

Yes, so far so good. We haven't disagreed on much yet. It will be interesting what happens when she gets older. I think there may be more things to disagree about then like in terms of discipline, schooling, what friends she can hang out with, stuff like that.

Yep! So far so good here too. LO's only 10 months old though.. should be interesting when she gets older. DH says he'll be the good cop (I get to be bad cop), but uh. We're totally going to be on the same team!

Yes! Even if we disagree on something it's usually silly and little enough that it's not an issue. Like hubby is a little more paranoid about germs, so I figure I'll wash things more if it makes him feel better. I really don't care either way.

The hubs and I agreed from the get-go that we could only do this parenting thing if we are on the same team together. And it's so true! Even though LO is only 6 months old, we've had moments when we had to set our differences aside and work together. We'll see what happens, though, when she's older

I think this really comes into play when we're dealing with things like peer pressure, drug and alcohol awareness, sex, higher education, etc. Right now, there's not a lot we have to decide on, ykwim? I also think there are some things that I am just not going to be able to understand, like what it is like to be a teenage boy, so my husband's going to have to take the lead and educate me about what's going on.
