DH and I are both professionals 9-5 but once we're home it is sillytown here!
Ex. I just made cookies and sang "Cookies cookies everywhere" and DH finished it in a cookie monster voice with "even in your underwear"
I love that even after a long week we can still laugh.

Baahahahahah. That song is a lyrical masterpiece. It sounds almost exactly like DH and I. Love it. Yesyesyes, we are boarderline ridiculous and if anyone heard us, I'd be embarrassed (though totally not implying your song is embarrassing...I'd sing that shit all day long!).

Hahaha Sounds just like our house...if people ever heard us, they'd have us committed. DH is also a fan of making up songs, his favorites are all about his *cough cough* member. I'm sure you guys would like to be spared the details. Heh

yuppp we are prettttty ridiculous. case in point: we spent the last hour singing "fishy fishy" (from the mcdonald's commercial) and making up dance moves because we clearly have nothing better to do!

We were just discussing this yesterday! I am silly and DH is pretty serious, although he's definitely become sillier since we got together. He brought up this quote from Goethe:
It is a mistake for a taciturn, serious-minded woman to marry a jovial man, but not for a serious-minded man to marry a lighthearted woman.
I don't know if I agree with that sentiment, but it's interesting to think about!

We are pretty silly by ourselves, we seem to have our own sense of humour and if I try to explain a funny thing that happened to someone they just don't get it, it's usually a "you had to be there to understand how totally awesome that moment was."

People would look at us crazy if they heard/saw some of the stuff we do. We act like children sometimes and I love it.
