We did them last year, and they were kind of a disaster... but now the kids are 3 and 5, so maybe there won't be crying this time. There are some free Santa events, so maybe we'll check out one of those.

Crying pics are the best! Taking pics with a costumed stranger is kind of silly so crying adds the appropriate touch of humor to it all.

I'm thinking no because my son really freaks out with strangers and situations like that but I haven't fully commuted to my decision yet.

We did it last year at a former firehouse, now kind of a museum. The kids liked it. I'll see if they're doing it again. Best part is it's free! We were at the mall the other day and saw the santa display. My son asked if santa came all the way here or if it's just pretend. Haha.

No. I like seeing other kids' Santa pics but it's not something we plan to do with our LO.
