I am ALWAYS bored on the weekends, especially Saturday's because DH works his weekend job. So, he works all week plus Saturdays, and I'm just home with LO and I'm more times than not bored. I haven't left the house in over a week!

@Bao: I feel your pain..DH works a lot on the weekend. I need to make more effort to meet other moms in my area!

No, DD stopped napping a while ago so we are always busy!

@autumnlove: Same here! I just posted asking about baby classes/groups because I'm so darn bored! All my friends either don't have babies yet (so I'm a bore), or the ones who do are hanging out with their husbands.

Yes and no. I work every other weekend (my weekend to work so waiting to eat dinner then leave) so I am enjoy my weekends off. Unfortunately, I get antsy and restless so I think I should be doing something since it is the weekend.

Yes, especially when my dh is sleeping during the day so he can go to work in the evening. Ugh, have to keep the kids quiet and not die of boredom.

No, too many projects for both home and work. We also have baby swim class on Saturdays. If I had more downtime, I would either take a nap or read a book!

Yes. We basically do chores and shopping and any house projects. DH also works every other Saturday so that cuts back on activities. With both of us working during the week not much gets done except on the weekends.

I'm notorious to my DH for getting bored. I can't sit still to watch long stints of tv (I get bored!), so I usually try to find something to occupy me. Usually baking or surfing the Internet. I've been determined to find a crafty hobby that I can do in front of the tv, but just can't get into yarn crafts.
