A friend of mine seriously asked me this. Well.... yes I want to have more babies, but not because I don't want to work. It's because I want babies. And staying at home with my babies is work. It's just just laying around the house all day! What is wrong with people?!

People are crazy. I had a coworker tell me (she's like 55 with an adult son) that I should get pregnant ASAP so I didn't have to work anymore.
That being said, I do think that SOME mothers keep having kids for this purpose... Not that raising multiple kids isn't work!

@artbee: *Augh* I get the opposite . . . "when are you going to quit working? how many babies will it take for you to walk away from your career?" You just can't win!
If you stay home, you *lay around, eat bon bons, and watch soap operas* . . . if you work, you *focus more on your career/yourself than your family, and aren't as motherly as other mamas who stay home*. WHY the EFFFF can't peeps just mind their own business?! My usual response is one of the following: *Wow, that was inappropriate* or *So yeah, this is awkward . . . *
